Hong Kong Restaurant — Restaurant in Gallup

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME!! Every "Chinese" buffet in Gallup is not what it seems. I've been to three so called "Chinese" buffets in Gallup, NM and the food doesn't taste good AT ALL. It's VERY bland, dry and cold. I should've know something was up when the restaurant was empty inside and out... And why did this place have corn in the fried rice!?!? I've NEVER in life seen that before 🤢🤢🤢 Don't get me wrong the service was good and it was very clean but the buffet is not worth $9 per person drink not included. Terrible, terrible, terrible! I wasted my money yet again on a "Chinese" buffet... NOT AUTHENTIC AT ALL!!! If you're in Gallup, NM and craving Chinese food, you won't get REAL Chinese food in this city. Just visit Panda Express. Hopefully, the workers don't mess that up... I seriously wanted a refund. And I always keep...

Update: My husband said he saw a staff member bring out a tray of food and place it UNDER the steam table, apparently to wait there unheated until the previous batch was used up. If McKinley County has a health inspector he should definitely check out the food hygeine in this place. Several hours after eating minimal amounts of the inedible food we are both experiencing stomach distress. If negative stars was an option I would be using it!

Absolute most awful "chinese buffet" I have ever attended, hands down. The food is lukewarm, TINY selection, the fountain soda tastes like perfume. When we complained, no service recovery was offered. Place was crowded to the gills but food still not hot. Awful experience that certainly did not enhance my opinion...

Very Small Buffet with limited entrees to choose from. The food was not bad, but far from being The Best in town. Not sure if its the type of oil they use or if it maybe needed to be changed, but everything that was fried had an old taste to it, especially the fried rice. The dinning room, however was kept very clean and tables were prebussed. Servers were very attentive and nice, they kept our drinks filled. This was my first time trying out this spot. I wont say that this would be my first choice in the future, but I also wouldnt put it on my DO NOT RETURN list...
