On 9/23/25 at 1pm.... I came into today with a big appetite(my first time experience and visit) and I left unsatisfied & deeply disappointed(I traveled from Albuquerque). I was told to leave and that they wouldn't serve me because I questioned the total amount that they were charging me. I was so confused. I ordered a Steam Corn Stew/$16 and I ordered 1 rib/$8 and I ordered a Mutton meat/$8 as it was advertised on their price menu. So my total should of at least been $34 or $35 or $36 at the most. Instead the lady there told me that my total was $56.43 for 1 steam corn stew, 1 rib, and 1 pc of Mutton meat. And I asked her again nicely why are you taxing me $20 or more for my meal and why is it expensive? Instead of getting an answer or an explanation, the lady asked me to leave and that she wasn't serving me. Being served or not served, I was not going to pay $56(better off butchering my sheep) for 1 steam corned stew, 1pc of rib and 1pc of Mutton. That's outrageous!!! 😳 Then being told, "we're not serving you and you need to leave" when you asked the business for an explanation on why you're charging me a $20-$25 in taxes for my meal. Thanks for the inconvenient experience *especially to your own people who have traveled distances to dine and enjoy the food(this was my first time coming to this restaurant and my last time). Can't enjoy the food if there's a $20-$25 tax hike. I definitely would not go this restaurant if that's how they price their food and treat people or customers who come out of town. Definitely two thumbs down for this place 👎👎 Tariff Taxes on Mutton/Sheep too? You're better off butchering and eating...
Read moreI had a deeply disappointing experience at Native Grill & Meats. We stopped by during a road trip, expecting a quick, satisfying meal, but it ended up being a frustrating ordeal. The food was excessively greasy, and unfortunately, it left my entire family feeling sick afterward.
We ordered meals that were supposed to include corn and baked potatoes, but they were missing. The owner sent out the meals without any explanation, and when I went back in to ask, he told me it would take 30-50 minutes to prepare them—completely unreasonable for a quick stop. When I requested some form of compensation for the incomplete meals, he offered a mere 50 cents, which felt insulting given how much we paid.
On a positive note, the locals we encountered were incredibly kind and accommodating, which made the experience slightly more bearable. It’s a shame the restaurant itself didn’t reflect that same level of hospitality.
I wouldn’t recommend stopping here—it’s overpriced, poorly managed, and not worth...
Read moreDisappointing. All 17 reviews were 5-star. Not sure how realistic that rating is. Portions were very large, but Indian taco was soggy and bland. We were actually sick for the rest of our road trip to Colorado that day.
Ice machine was broken.
Exterior is pretty grim. Interior just as grim. Bathroom doors, walls, light switch plates covered in grease and dirt. Not sure how they pass a city health inspection, unless they are not part of the city, i.e. maybe Indian reservation?
The employee, though, was very nice.
I really had high hopes from the reviews. I...
