Dutch Bros Coffee — Restaurant in Galt

Furious would be an understatement of how I left my local Dutch Bros today. As usual I walk up to the front window and order and get in and out no problem. Today that was not the case. after I ordered my drinks I stand there and wait as they are being prepared, 15 minutes go by and my drinks still have not been given to me. I approach the window and ask a team member how much longer until my drinks are finished they assure me that they are being made and will be out soon. Another 10 minutes go by and I'm starting to get a little impatient. I tried to take into account how busy they are and wait a little longer. I stand a couple feet away from the window still in sight of the workers. When my wait time gets up to 40 minutes I am now getting furious as I have seen cars come and go through the drive-thru. You have workers walking drinks out to cars in the drive-thru before finishing orders that were taken first. At this point, I am no longer patient and standing right up at the window until a worker acknowledges me. An employee then approaches me and lets me know that they are sorry and that my drinks have been waiting in the fridge for me. Instead of handing me my drinks when they were made they put them in the fridge, even when i asked beforehand that it taking a long time to make my order. Such a disappointment this shop is run by kids and needs a leadership role present. This is my local Dutch Bros and just down the street from my house , from now on I would consider driving the extra 10 minutes to Lodi or elk grove instead....

I've been a customer of Dutch Bros. for many years and have never had any issues with the service or the items I've purchased from any of their locations.

However, today at the Dutch Bros. Galt location around 2 p.m., I pulled up to the window to receive our drinks, and the employees were playing very explicit music that was highly inappropriate. The song was "My Type" by Saweetie. Look up the song or lyrics to understand why I was upset that this was blasting out of their window with my kids in the car. I pointed it out to the employee serving us our drinks and told her the music was very inappropriate with my kids in the car. The employee smiled and laughed and said, "Oh, I didn't play it!" and pointed at the other employee dancing behind her.

I love Dutch Bros. and will continue to be a customer, but it is not acceptable for a family-friendly business to play that kind of music. I hope management sees this review and addresses my concern with the employees working...

I have always enjoyed Dutch Bros but it isn't always easy to find one, so I was really happy to see this location in town. Not to mention the layout of the building, the parking, and drive-thru is better planned out than other locations I've seen. Usually the drive-thru line blocks parking. Not the case at this location.

The staff were super-friendly and I appreciate that. Not to mention fast service and short wait time. At least when we drove up, which was about 7am or so on a Sunday. I would definitely recommend Dutch Bros over Starbucks all the time. There are so many great flavored coffee drinks and their not overly sweet or watered down like you-know-where.
