Round Table Pizza — Restaurant in Galt

I am very dissatisfied with how I was treated at this restaurant by the counter rep Kelly. I eat at Round Table often its one of my favorite pizza places and this location is the closest to my house. Today 11/30 I bought 3 pizzas, twists and wings for curbside pick up @4:17PM. I arrived at 4:18PM and my order wasn’t ready, which was no big deal. I waited until 4:33PM when Kelly brought out our order. She gave us 4 boxes but I couldn’t find the wings I ordered. I called to let them know I was missing the wings. That’s when she told me that the wings were put in the same box as the twists. I then told her that in the future if they cannot do that because I don’t eat meat (the wings are for my sister) and I don’t want the wings touching the twists. Instead of apologizing and tell me that they would refrain from doing that again Kelly proceeded to make it seem like it was my fault for not specifying that I don’t eat meat and that I didn’t want 2 separate orders to be packed in the same box?? We went back and forth over the phone for a bit then she hung up on me mid sentence. I don’t think I was asking for too much. I didn’t ask for the food to be remade or for a refund. All I wanted was an apology and for them to realize not to package two separate orders in the same box, most people don’t like their food touching anyway. I’ve been eating at Round Table in many different locations for years and this has never happened to me and I’ve never been treated like this. I will not be returning to this location again. They just lost a very regular customer who would eat here 2 or more times month and spend over...

I just made the mistake of trying the Galt, Round Table. I ordered a Medium, 3 topping, thin crust... What I didn't realize was that if you tell them what you want, as opposed to letting them decide what you get... you pay extra. OK, get this... I ordered a 3 topping medium and was charged just under 23.00... For 3 dollars more I could have had a LARGE Combination with 12 toppings.... what a load... You let them know what you want and they say OK but you will pay for it. I ask for a thin crust, what I got was a soggy cracker. Wouldn't you expect a thin crust to be crispy??? I could go on but the truth is,,, this won't have any affect. Round Table Pizza will continue to serve (Sub- Quality,)pizza because it is not good for you, over priced, and as a society, this is what works. I tossed the pizza after seeing what I had,,, the neighbors goats even...

I had just an awful day yesterday and needed some way to get my mind of the awful pain so I sauntered down to my local roundtable. Ordering a delectable large half Arthur's pizza and pineapple I was served by probably the best server I've ever had, John B. He was always attentive, had a huge smile and even recommended me his favorite options. Just because of his amazing service I ordered extra breadsticks to bring home, which I know were made with love. My day, ruined by an awful boss who doesn't appreciate me at all was turned around by a server who showed me there is still hope on this rock. Great pizza and atmosphere too.
