There's always someone to help at the kiosk, and they don't mind you asking for help at all; Even if you're struggling with the app, they're very friendly to help figure any of it out. They even seem to enjoy teaching people how to use the kiosks, I think, because it's pretty helpful when they get busy or they're cleaning (I never understand the empty kiosks when multiple large groups come in right after each other and just stand in line at an empty counter. It takes a little time if you have a lot of customizations I guess, but you can always prep your order on the kiosk and tap pay at counter and ask them to modify everything there before you pay; then your order time just depends on how long the ppl in front of you take to order at counter. I really don't get why some customers get so aggravated by the kiosks, tbh, there's a much more visible menu with visible prices for everything, it even translates to Spanish and zooms in; I just don't get the level of frustration I've seen some people get to, when I'm chilling eating in the lobby (like please don't tell and cuss out the workers if they wanna teach you about the kiosks, it's literally just doing their job; there's kids here dude and it's a designated safe space - which is why I frequent, it's typically clean, safe, and peaceful and the employees are great!)
Orders seem to come out in order, within reason (cus some are for pretty huge groups and some are just a large drink), any time of day.
Im a local regular for years who dines in and takes out, and I can say I really appreciate their business practices here. They're pretty strict and stern with customers who try to take advantage of em, or who harass people or make the environment feel hostile, and they're pretty quick to resolve any issues that anyone brings in. While at the same time, they seem genuinely caring and considerate of all who come in, and they really try to help it be a good environment and food service for everyone overall.
I can also say regulars get remembered here, and you can hear management or long time employees helping newer employees get used to unique orders or to have fresh pies or cookies ready around certain times and days of the week.
I can also say they only do refills for customers who stay in the lobby after purchasing, they don't really do top-offs. Any cream and sugar can only be done in the back, when they're making your order. Also there's way more customization options on the register, but it really helps them if you use the kiosk first. Oh and they often mop and clean/close bathrooms between breakfast and lunch. They often seem ready and apologetic to fix orders made wrong, but they will check the receipt (date, time, order) before they fix it. Also, restrooms are customer only.
The parking lot is small, so you wanna keep that in mind. My truck fits fine but a little snug in any non compact space here, that isn't in the front row, the reserved spots seem a little wider. Since it's right next to a gas station and Starbucks the traffic can be pretty chaotic. If there's a semi truck or any delivery vehicle parked in the road or intersection, be ready for unsafe drivers.
Overall it's pretty great here most of the time, just check your order before you go, and call them out if it is cold or not made right.
It's normally clean here unless it's really busy, but sometimes it's kinda cathartic to see how quickly they clean up after a rush.
I love this McDonald's because the food usually comes out great, I usually don't experience symptoms of cross contamination (I have many allergies and am immune compromised, and a diabetic in our household so consistent accuracy is also important); the kiosks are normally clean and functional; because the staff are often friendly, kind, and quick to do their jobs; and because it's so quick and convenient on top of great prices I can find in the app (and on the kiosks even if you don't...
Read moreThis is a pretty great McDonald’s. Unless there’s a constant rush of customers who have dirty shoes or are extra messy everything is always really well cleaned, even the kiosks (which work pretty great here, and the staff are pretty friendly to help out and check in when you use it).
Even the bathroom is pretty clean, but I’d like to knock off a lot of points because the bathrooms are pull to exit and there’s only blow dryers, but that’s most modern McDonald’s these days. Would feel a lot cleaner if they even had a foot pull handle option to exit or just offered paper towels at the sink; the toilet paper is often out, and I think cus ppl use it to pull the handle on the way out too.
The food comes out pretty good most the time, but there are random occurrences where you can tell they used overcooked meat, meat seriously sopping in fat, food that had been time-temp held improperly, or food that probably got bagged then sat out of a safe temperature range for too long cus it probably was sitting somewhere other than the hot holding waiting for the rest of its order. I think this McDonald’s would do sooo much better if they just prioritized the quality of their food and order accuracy over speediness. It’s also sad to say that a lot of issues only present when certain employees are working (being a local and regular, you notice these things and hear from others who notice these things); like the fries, the meat, order accuracy, tea tasting like a proper tea, and receiving cold and dry food. It’s difficult cus most of the time things are pretty good, but you’ll really regret going at a bad time. Those tiny, hard fries and sad meats seriously kill mcds cravings for me.
They also are sometimes randomly one of the worst McDonald’s for fries cus they’ll come out overcooked, undercooked, soggy, the salt is too much or not there, and personally the worst thing imo that happens the most is getting a large fry totally full of tiny little less than 2inch fries that are all hard, dry, and too crunchy to bite. You end up wasting 1/2 - 3/4 of your fries cus they’re honestly inedible. And it’s pretty ridiculous with their cost.
However, they always correct any orders that are poorly made; which I definitely appreciate, but I don’t appreciate all of my food getting cold and dry with one hot and fresh item when I’m finally ready to leave.
Honestly, this is a really good McDonald’s most of the time, and I’ve seen them often have to deal with a lot of difficult customers (some ppl really go ballistic around the kiosks or with the younger staff when they struggle, it really doesn’t seem appropriate), and even still the workers are pretty apologetic and helpful most the time despite the abuse too many ppl do to em.
I think they just need to get better organized and properly prioritize the quality and accuracy and temperature of the food they’re handing out when training and maintaining training in...
Read moresooo.. I must say the employee attitude and approach from the average person has improve significantly since e 2018. This is a plus. They need more employees. Forget what you hear. Just a small raise for someone who has done a decent job will keep plenty of employees. and ofcouse hire high school students.
With the mobile app you can go inside and order from your table that has a number on it. Select table service and enter the number.
The manager will most likely see your order as the driveup and car hop stations are operated by working people. She will yell your order number. You won't know this number so continue thumbing through tiktok. She will then call out your name still not walking your order over to the table numbered with the information you entered. Just reply back with the same volume "I am over here."
She will send someone other than herself to find you. Wave them down as they don't understand the numbering system similar to their confusion at curbside with the giant number infront of your car.
Promptly take your fries up to the counter since all this yelling has caused them to become cold. Don't wait at the counter. Go back to your seet and start preparing your meal. Squeeze out the ketchup packets in preparation for your fries and such. They will bring out your fries.
The employees are good they just need training and they aren't going to get it from management or the owner of this franchise.
With a little attention your meal can be enjoyable, but scout out the one or two...
