Corner Pocket Bar — Restaurant in Galveston

So I'm on vacation in Galveston Texas and I was trying to see where the locals like to go and we came across this bar corner pocket Bar it was amazing ...Joe red was the bartender and he was friendly cool sassy and energetic and happy go lucky....The drinks were tasty made with love and reasonable pricing....they also have pool table where you can play against friends or whomever...I love the atmosphere it was chill and met some incredible people that night......The music was fantastic they played a variety mix... I recommend if your traveling to Texas like I did and want to have a good time to go to the Corner pocket Bar ..Thanks for the hospitality and the incredible time...

2nd time here, when i came the first time i had a great experience, tonight however, there is ONE employee and SHE is complaining about having to do her job that SHE applied for. After we made our food order about 10 min after new customers walked in and sat at the bar and SHE expressed to them that SHE was the only empoyee on the clock and their drink orders were priority over our food order, when our food was finally ready SHE came and threw our food down on the table and rolled her eyes and walked off. I'm disappointed and think a shift lead/manager should be on shift with HER as she is breaking empty bottles throwing them as SHE is upset at...

We were excited to see this place open as we live down the reach & have been watching the remodel. They did an excellent job! It is clean and contemporary. Bar seats are super comfy.
