My Wife and I recently stayed in the Madame Peacock (08/2020) for a long weekend mini-vacation, and we couldn't have had a better time. The location is fantastic being just across the street from the beach where we walked over and spent hours enjoying some fun in the sun each day we were there. There's also an Academy right down the block, a liquor store, restaurants, banks, and gas stations/mini-marts all within walking distance - super convenient! Not only that, but Leslie has supplied wash off areas for after the beach, as well as great outdoors & recreation amenities right on site. The room itself was perfect in every way. The decor while eclectic and fun was artfully curated and every element worked harmoniously together to create an extremely pleasant and relaxing atmosphere all with a unifying theme. it was actually quite impressive to see all the details and how they all came together so well. Not only was the room expertly decorated, but every need we had was already provided for - from an extra sink for make-up and getting ready while one of us was in the shower, to an actual fridge, ICE-MAKER, & microwave; basically a fully stocked kitchen! Everything we could think of was provided like our host had read our minds and knew just what we would need. The bedding was comfy, the ceiling fans blew fast, the AC was super cold, the wi-fi worked great for the evenings we spent in the room, and the entire place was immaculate. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and couldn't have asked for anything better. We would absolutely recommend staying in this room, or any other at Queen Gypsy Inn, to anyone and everyone that is planning a trip to Galveston. The service and value just can't be beat and Leslie is an absolute doll. We loved every minute of our trip and will definitely...
Read moreMe and my family took a visit to Galveston for the weekend, and we stayed at at Gypsy. It was stunnung! The decoration was amazing and well done, it's nice and cozy, and right across the street from the beach! Just a very short walk and we were into the water. The bathrooms are nice with included towels, soap, shampoo and conditioner, the basics. There were two rooms, a master and a bed for the kids, if that's not enough you can roll out the futon. I enjoyed the experience greatly, and so glad I got to stay! I would totally Reccomend this anytime you want to stay in Galveston, especially if you want to go to the beach multiple times...
Read moreWe recently stayed at the Queen Gypsy Inn in the room called Neptune's Nest and IT. WAS. STUNNING. The exquisitely detailed art and decor is a feast for the eyes and senses. Just gorgeous. It was also immaculately clean and filled with every accommodation. Like a little home away from home. And it's right on the seawall so we could just walk right to the beach in a couple of minutes. The front courtyard is a relaxing place to chill at night with a glass of wine and the kids running in the grass. Perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed staying here and will definitely be back to try another beautiful...
