Midtown Tavern — Restaurant in Galveston

Drink was good...bartenders were nice to ME, but there was a man that came in and when one of the bartenders returned from the other part, she threw him out. When someone asked why she threw him out..she couldn't remember what he did 2 years ago but just knew she didn't like his voice or him...........not sure what to think about that kind of employee. Unless you know the person is trouble or causes trouble, I get it....but to not know what he did years ago and say you "just don't like him" and that his voice gave her an immediate headache....that was a bit much for me. Again, I'm thankful that I wasn't treated poorly but I left quickly after because that type of treatment didn't sit...

I came here for the first time a few days ago. I can't say enough great things about this bar! Troy is a phenomenal bartender, he makes great drinks and truly makes his guests feel welcome. The place is extremely clean and inviting, they have a good juke box and a pool table. The drink selection is vast and the prices are great! I was having a hard time finding a Lyft late at night and Troy called me a cab which arrived quickly. Definitely check this place out if you...

Live music was the nights deal, first time there and everyone was so lively and happy to see ya bartenders were amazing I felt so damn awesome by all the ppl being nice it's been a minute since I've walked in a bar and was able enjoy a cold drink. Y'all all need to visit this here place. I'm going to try and stay a whole week down there next time it just puts you in a better mood. I'm happy I was able to find...
