This is the most ghetto trashy place I have ever seen, while ordering in the drive through lane the lady taking my order was having another conversion with her friend or co worker in the store (which I clearly could hear over the speaker)
Then I am the next person in line at at the window and one of the employees makes me stop my car so a homeless looking person can walk up to the window on foot and place an order( all the time I am wondering why he didn't go inside to order
Then at the same time as I was waiting for the walker to get his food a random black man walks up to the window reaches in a grabs a great big Popeyes and take it to a parked car( I'm not sure if he was handing him for but something seemed very suspicious.
And finally I get to the window I ordered 3 drinks and a 5piece tender meal,. And I ask them for a drink holder please,(and they don't have one). Then I get my food and realized they gave me no dipping sauce, so I ask for ranch and she said I have to pay a dollar, I argued and said doesn't the tender meal come with sauce?; And she said no. Then I different black lady walks up and argues to give me a sauce.... so she finally hand me ONE ranch sauce...... One ranch sauce for 5 tenders..... so I ask for more she said "gimme a dolla" ; I said: I don't have a dollar, all i have is my company credit card to buy lunch with... So she said give me the card rang me up for $1.08 and randomly hands my different kinds of sauce, I then hand the sauce back to her and say" can I get 2 ranches and 2 Buffalo sauces please", And she gives me 2 BBQ sauces. After some slow pernunciation I finally get my sauce and high tail it the hell out of there.
I have to turn in my receipts and work and had fun explaining that one, but that Popeyes is the last place in Galveston I will ever...
Read moreAt least my food came out and I got twice as many chicken tenders as I had asked for, but they didn’t have my side order for my combo, they didn’t have the apple pies for the $10 box and the breast I got was soaking in grease it looked as if it were melting. No napkins... so the greasiness was just awful in the car. I was sooo hungry I figured some chicken tenders from Popeyes would be quick and it’s only 6pm. they took about 30 min in the drive through from when I ordered to when I got it, for just a no. 5 combo and a $10 box. He didn’t even finish my order at the intercom. I told him half of what I wanted and the the intercom just completely went off... no answer like what else would you like or your total is... for like 2-3 minutes it was just silent. I waited for him to come back on and he said just to go to the window. I order again at the window and he tells me it is ready and to pull the the parking space and it will be ready in 5 minutes. 10 more minutes go by and i get out of my car and he says it’s almost done. I see others having to wait and some getting their orders and leaving. After 15 minutes I get out of the car and decide to go inside and the drive thru guy holds up his hands like it’ll be 5 more minutes. And I go inside anyway so they know that I’m ready and not going to wait for them to be able to take it out to me cause I knew it would’ve been another 10 minutes or so at the least. anyways, yea at least I got my chicken tenders. That’s one star. Worst experience at a drive...
Read moreI loooove Popeyes. But I have to say that this is the wooorst Popeyes I have ever been to. And I have been to alot of them. I went through the drive thru and placed my order. I went to the window ready to pay, and a different girl asked me for my order. I told her that I had already ordered through the speaker, but I thought ok that's fine. So I placed the order again. I ordered the butterfly shrimp with mashed potatoes and a drink. She gave me my drink with no straw and closed the window. I had to ask for straw. She asked me to drive up to wait for my order. So I did. All this with an attitude. So then the guy behind me started honking at me. Then the same girl stuck her head out the window and rudely asked me to move more forward. About 10 minutes later another, more pleasant, lady came out and gave me my order. When I got to my destination, I saw that they didn't give me any plastic ware for my mashed potatoes. And I was at a place where I couldn't get a spoon or fork. I don't normally give reviews here, but I felt that I had to share my horrible experience. To the Popeyes manager at this location: Please make sure your employees treat people with respect and have the mental capabilities to work their position. At this rate, sales at this location will drop to the point that it will have...
