Taqueria Flores — Restaurant in Galveston

Today, my brother purchased 10 tacos for $20 from this taco truck and was given only 3 mini sauces with his order. When he politely asked for 2 more green sauces, the lady at the window explicitly told him they were out of sauce. Moments later, he saw her give another customer six sauces, so he asked my sister to try.

Sure enough, when my sister asked, the lady said she could sell her one mini sauce for $2. Confused, my sister came back to the car to tell me, and I decided to speak directly to the lady.

When I confronted her and explained that she had told my brother they were out, but now was trying to sell sauce to my sister, she immediately changed her story, claiming they had just made more sauce — which, based on the timing, was impossible. Even if I were to "entertain" her excuse, she could’ve told him we’re currently making it so come back to buy some?!….

When I pressed further, she suddenly changed the price again: now 2 sauces for $1 instead of $2 each!

So let me get this straight: You take a $20 order You lie and say you're out of sauce You try to sell sauces at $2 each to kids Then backpedal and offer 2 sauces for $1 when confronted

Absolutely disgusting treatment. The lady at the window was unprofessional and clearly not interested in providing decent customer service. She needs serious reeducation in how to treat customers.

I always come get food from here, the food is decent and they are close to where I live so its convenient. .... the man never charges me for extra limes and one day a lady is there, I asked her for extra limes and she told me it would cost. I explained to her the man never charges me and limes havent went up because I just bought 3 for $1 at the store recently and on top of that I didnt say anything about her overcharging me for the same tacos I get with the man the same way and its about $2 cheaper usually and still tipped them after I payed more for the same thing and she wouldnt give me the extra limes even though I tryed to pay while expressing thats not what usually happens. Then... she gave me my change back and said no to my limes b/c of my attitude. All I was trying to do was explain to her how come he doesnt charge me and she is, for a few more slices of limes.... I work in the restaurant business and we dont charge for limes or lemons. Like come on lady!! The lady and the man need to get on the same page. Won't be going back nor will I send...

I had really high hopes for this place, however after receiving my order incorrectly and trying get them to just correct it, the rudeness from the lady that answered the phone. Almost argued with me about my order being incorrect. I’m looking at it as it sits incorrectly.
