Kermit Courville Stadium — Attraction in Galveston

It was nostalgic. Took me back a few decades. Remembered being in that Stadium almost every Friday night as a high school teenager . Mostly sitting way at the top or in the end zone seats. Going down to the concession stands at half time for refreshments and to mingle and flirt. There have been some improvements since. New scoreboard , seating in the stands , rubber track for track and field , and visible lighting. And those beloved Oleanders blocking the end zone view from the street just adds an unspoken aura to the stadium tradition . Love Kermit Courville...
