MAC-IES on Broadway — Restaurant in Galveston

I will be honest, I did not want a burger. My mother wanted wings. I can get burgers and wings all over GA. However my son wanted a burger and we are leaving him in Houston for school. The reviews were great and who doesn't love a good ol' smash burger? This didn't disappoint. We pulled up and I loved the colors and brightness. When we walked in we were immediately greater and the cashier was the sweetest and had a great sense of humor. She helped us with the menu. I decided to go with a double, American cheese, BBQ sauce, mayo, grilled onions and I believe also ketchup. My son had a triple and the avocado he chose to add on his was great. We all 3 enjoyed the burgers and the fries were great. I'm sure I'll be back from Atlanta again to visit my son and have a good burger. Delicious, fresh and enough to split. Husband and I split the single, a small order of fries and a drink. All for under $20! We dined in, everything was served piping hot. The bun to meat ratio is perfect. We’ll go back for a milkshake and hot dog! Glad to see they’ve expanded to this Broadway location. 9/13/25 went back today to try the hotdog! Husband opted to repeat the excellent burger experience. Hot dog was served open faced, too much to fold and cram in my mouth. I did get the chili cheese Mayo & mustard as my toppings though. Really good and so much u couldn’t finish it all. Husband also tried the chocolate milkshake. Very thick and heavy! I think I’ll stick with the burger in the future. Here’s an idea how about y’all add bleu cheese crumbles as a topping?! Oh and work on the dispenser water, it tastes salty?? Otherwise, all good! Keep up...

Absolutely incredible! This smash burger spot blew me away. The burgers are juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection — easily one of the best I’ve ever had. The fries are just as impressive — crispy, golden, and piled high with huge portions that leave you more than satisfied. The buns are unbelievably fresh, soft yet sturdy enough to hold everything together. Service was super fast, and the place has a clean, modern vibe that makes it even better. If you love a great burger experience, this is the spot....
