Seasons Food Mart — Local services in Galveston

We waited over an hour for a to go order without any communication about the delay when we were told 20 mins. I watched one couple sit down and walk out because no one even greeted them within 15 mins. The only table that was actually there received their meals at different times and complained during checkout about the length of their break for lunch going over and that the food wasn't very good. When I finally asked where my order was they told me they were having kitchen issues and would give us 50% off. The food was finally done and I brought it back to the office for my coworkers..... I tried mine and it was burnt and salty to the point of inedible. Another lady ordered fries with cheese and bacon and received plain fries. When she called about it the manager stated they don't offer those toppings on fries and she pointed it out to him on the menu online. Finally, another coworker ordered the teriyaki chicken that states it comes with rice... she opened the box and it had fries. The manager stated that the menu had a typo and it doesn't come with rice. So very disappointed in this place. What appeared to be the owner sat in the "kids gaming section" working on his computer and completely ignoring everything going on. A lady with another to go order sat next to him the whole time waiting 45 mins for her food. I was really hoping this place would be fantastic, but...

Horrible store! A while back I used my card here and then 45 minutes later i start gettung random charges starting at $10 and then they kept going up more and more. I guess to see how much they could get a way with then i try to go buy a lighter and she try to sneak charge me a extra $5 for the lighter like i wasnt going to notice. I try to support this little store because its cute and they're Hispanic and im tryting to suoport my ppl but to do ppl dirty who try to spend their hard work money. It also frustrating because everything is expired and i hate having to question food when buying it. I buy my 12pks from here alot and my cokes are always flat cause they dont sell 12pks alot i guess so they just sit there for years. I can't support a business that does their customers this bad. God bless them I pray they realize their business will never last being...

My wife and I decided to check this place out after driving by it yesterday. We planned on going to KFC just a little farther down the road, but we decided to give this place a try. We are so glad we did! It wasn't busy at all when we went in for lunch around 2:00. Braxton was our server and top notch at that. We asked him what his favorite dishes were there, and he said the lemon chicken and spinach and bacon chicken dishes were the best. We tried them, and wow! If you've ever had shrimp DeJonghe, it's like that in a way, but 10 times better. You get a huge portion of food. We had to take leftovers home, as well as a slice of their locally sourced pecan pie.
