Domino's Pizza — Restaurant in Garden City

If I could give them zero stars I definitely would. After an hour and a half of waiting for my food it was never delivered. After about the hour mark I called the store and they had stated that the delivery driver should be there at any moment that they were very busy because it was Friday night but that it should be here soon. After no one delivering my food for an hour longer, I contacted the store again and they had stated to me that They were unable to locate my address and apparently my neighbor had signed for the pizza and tip the driver as well. However I only have one neighbor who I’m very close with and if there were to be pizza delivered to their house that wasn’t theirs they would’ve let me know. When I called in I was transferred to a manager and she was extremely rude. I work in customer service so I know how important it is to make things right that may have gone wrong. However I told her if they couldn’t deliver this evening that I would never order from this location again. The manager then stated to me that it wouldn’t affect them if I didn’t order from their specific store And was extremely argumentative. edit I am still somewhat upset by my experience, but I do feel that this dominos is still the best one one in the area. All interactions that I have had with their staff and management have been courteous, professional, and very efficient. Therefore, I will up my rating back to a 5 star.

I never thought that I would become a "Karen" and complain like this, but this experience has upset me enough that I feel I must complain. This experience has been upsetting for me on a level I hadn't thought to encounter here. I've ordered from this place dozens of times over the past year and never had a problem before. But suddenly it has become impossible to understand my delivery instructions. Instructions that the website asks for when you place a contactless delivery no less! I've waited for over an hour for my pizza now and when I called to inquire what happened to my order, they said the driver couldn't find me, and that they'd try to have my order back out to me in twenty to thirty minutes! This is highly upsetting, I've never had an experience like this from this restaurant before. I'd come to expect good service and great delivery skills from them. We saw a viral pizza on tik tok today so of course we had to order it! My husband is very basic with his pizza, just cheese or pepperoni. I was quite surprised that he wanted to try this one out!

Ordering process is always easy. We did order online. I did have to order through phone calls a couple times and either has always been easy. The gal that delivered our pizza was sweet! We gave her a cash tip so I know it didn't show up on the order. She was so kind even though she didn't know if she was getting ripped or not. More drivers need to be like her. Stop assuming you're not getting tipped.

The viral pizza is a pan pizza with extra garlic parmesan sauce with Philly steak, bacon and extra cheese. We did modify our our pizza. We subbed ham and chicken for the bacon. My husband is not a big bacon fan but honestly the ham worked! The crust was chewy and crunchy from the cheese. It was our first time trying this sauce and it was freaky good! There was plenty of topping and cheese on the pizza. The cheese pull was great! We did order a couple marinara cups to dip the pizza. Talk about a perfect bite!
