I ordered a Gryo sandwich and an Italian meat combo. Take-out Gyro Sandwich: I rate the Gyro at a 3. The pita was fresh and had a soft texture, very good. The lamb-beef was cooked med-well and had a nice texture. The meat could use a little more flavor. Very little feta cheese in the sandwich and the tzatziki sauce had no flavor. It taste like plain Greek yogurt without any dill, lemon juice, garlic, and olive oil. Price $9.99 Italian Combo 12" Hero Sandwick: I rate the Italian combo as a 1. See photos. I order the hero to be hot, which means to me that the roll is toasted and the meat is cooked where the edges are crispy, also the cheese is melted into the meat. The sandwich was a white roll, not toasted, about 4 pieces of thin sliced cold cut, and a slice of mozzarella. No flavor! Price $10.99 See Photos I did not order any of the pizzas, but what I saw in the display case was not impressive. The crust was as thin as a flour tortilla with not much cheese and sauce. The bottom line is the food is lacking in taste / flavor. The Italian Combo is overpriced for what you get. $10.99.

We've heard so many good things about Mulberry Street from friends and family so we decided to give it a try. The location is great, staff were friendly, and decor was done well. The subs on the other hand were a huge disappointment. Left is one of the two Italian cold cuts ordered. They barely had meat on them, american cheese (yuk), very little lettuce, and way too much Mayo. One the right is the chicken cheesesteak. The description in the menu descrribed it as shaved chicken. What I was served was chunks of chicken which barely filled the roll. I requested L/T/M and didn't receive either. Upon biting into the chicken, it was pink on the inside. I wasn't going to call and complain, but the potential to make someone sick is high if serving raw meat. I called and spoke with the owner. He was nice, seemed receptive, and even offered to send us a new sub. I declined. It was our mistake by ordering subs instead of the pizza, therefore we won't be writing them off. We look forward to eventually trying the pizza.

I recently had the chance to visit this fantastic pizza place, and I must say, it was an incredible experience! The pizza was absolutely delicious, each bite transported me right back to the streets of New York. What really stood out, however, was the warmth of the staff. They were friendly and welcoming, making everyone feel right at home as soon as they walked through the door. It was not just about the food; the genuine hospitality definitely enhanced the overall experience. The atmosphere of the place really captured that quintessential New York pizzeria vibe, complete with cozy seating and vibrant décor. The lively chatter and laughter created a sense of community, making it the perfect spot to enjoy a meal with friends or family. If you’re in the area and looking for a great place to grab a slice, I highly recommend checking this place out! You won’t be disappointed!
