Terry's State Street Saloon — Restaurant in Garden City

I have been a regular at Terry’s but a few weeks ago the Karaoke DQ hit on me and I turned him down. I returned a few weeks later, I immediately went to the bathroom, to change my tampon, when my friend went to the bar the bartender said I was cut off because I was tumbling and I immediately went to the bathroom. Although I went to the bathroom, I was yet to be drinking. Later in the night, I was holding my boyfriend’s beer while he went to the bathroom (not drinking it at all, I hate IPAs) and a random man snatched it out of my hands and says I’m taking this. I used to be a regular at Terry’s and have experienced very intoxicated individuals and the staff has not cared. Terry's is a local favorite, known for its stiff pours, karaoke almost every night and extremely cheap happy hour pricing. Some call it a dive bar just because it's an older, small, cheap, basic and simple bar that focuses on just good service, good prices, good people and not filled with fancy stuff. They have a few TV'S always playing sports, a Touch Tunes for your enjoyment, 2 pool tables, Golden Tee, darts, small bathrooms, and smoking on the side patio. Terry's seems like a nice bar at first. A simple little karaoke dive bar. However. The bouncers take your drinks before you are done with them. They kick people out or cut people off for no reason. To top it off we reserved a table. Not everyone had shown up yet. All of a sudden the bouncer ripped our reservation off half of our table and let others in. When I asked what happened to my reservation, they said all bets are off after 9:00. I asked for that spot a week ago. Terrible service. Terrible people. Will never recommend or return.
