La Langosta Family Restaurant — Restaurant in Garden Grove

Update:11/28/2023 this was not the best experience, but the food was still good. I usually get the mariscos molcajete. It originally came with chorizo, nopal, and all the mariscos. But there way less meat and no chorizo. It's TOO EXPENSIVE to have a mystery molcajete every time I would go somewhere else for this price. Over priced food with bad service. 👎 not worth it.

We've been coming to this restaurant since January 2018 and this was the best experience we've had yet. The owners have done very well to maintain great quality even during the pandemic. The service was excellent and food was better than anticipated. Highly recommend Al mojo de ajo con extra ajo!

Update: This was the worst experience. We ordered the meal exactly the same every time for over 4 years now. The waitress was horrible, argued with us about what we odered, the food was wrong after it took a long time to come out. We were out celebrating and this was a huge disappointment. We asked for some corrections to be made, but ended up losing our appetite after the 4th and 5th mistake, especially with her condescending attitude/behavior. We looked around for the owner, but couldn't find him. We're sorry to have to leave, but we couldn't sit there and be treated like that by a waitress who insists the food item is there when you can CLEARLY see it's not. I had the worst experience ever in this restaurant , ordene un cocktail de camaron y no tenia nada verdura with a bunch of water , no flavor with only 5 shrimps in it . 5 camarones nomas. Y ordene una fajita que venia un plato muy chico, en donde sea que e ido , dan un plato de tamaño normal no ese plato de niño de 5 años. Ordene tambien un mariscos molcajete it was the worst tenia 3 normal shrimps the rest of the shimps were dry with the head and the heads were sharp . Not only that there was no octopus in it . It only had calamari . Everything was so expensive which I don't mind paying because it's seafood which I love . But for something like this I just can't believe they sell food like this . I was so mad about the service and the food I didn't even leave a tip because I did not feel like it was a good service overall . Came here 2 days in a row on my trip to Disney and this is the best food you can get, finally something filling yet healthy to eat around here! And the service was amazing both days very quick and attentive service. I accidentally order the tilapia fillet (I’m still learning Spanish) and it was a very happy mistake as it was so delicious and they were very gracious to offer to make me the chicken but I declined since the fish ended up being a new favorite for me.
