Cafe Yellow Goose — Restaurant in Garden Grove

This is a cute little Boba Cafe decorated with duckies everywhere! There's also a Goose you can hang out with on a couch!

The staff are super friendly, and they gave out some great recommendations for drinks and toppings!

You can adjust everything from ice, sweetness, and you can change what milk to put in for the drinks that have milk in it!

What we ordered:

🧋Taro Milk Tea with Boba - It's creamy, a great subtle flavor of the taro all throughout, and the boba is a fun compliment to the drink.

🧋Banana Ooyoo with Boba - This is a callback to your childhood Banana Milk, but it's made with fresh bananas and it has the banana pieces in it! Definitely a very fun drink!

🧋Mango Fruit Tea with Lychee - A flavorful freshing drink for sure. The mango tea with the mango in it, plus since we added the Lychee pieces in it, this will definitely cool you down on a hot day!

🧋Peach Swirl with Egg Pudding - Another perfect drink for a hot day, the swirl of the peach, and cream, which is blended so it's frosty all the way though! The egg pudding is also creamy in a different way, it complements it so well!

🧋Matcha Einspänner with Oat Milk - This one is a special that they had. So it's like a matcha milk tea, but it has vanilla in it! I chose oat milk for the milk base to give it a little more of a cookie flavor. Highly recommend that. It's like taking a bite of a cookie and then drinking a matcha milk tea right after.

Yes , you do get a rubber ducky with every drink! Collect 10, and you can turn them back in for a reward!

Love the ducks and drinks, but not the boba.

They have a decent menu with a good variety of drink options. We were able to find our usual go-to's and enjoyed them. They only have 1 size and each drink comes with a super cute rubber duck! They also have food items, but we didn't try any. For a place that has boba on its sign, however, we expected the boba to be a lot better.

Lychee Fruit Tea: 10/10 - comes with actual lychee bits Mango Passion: 7/10 - rainbow jelly was a nice touch Brown Sugar Boba: 4/10 - gets super hard after just 10 minutes

The shop is located in a small plaza, but you should be able to find a parking spot. The interior is nice and has a good amount of seating, but it was crowded and a bit squished when we went so it might be tough finding a spot. The workers were nice and we didn't have to wait too long for our drinks.

This cafe is the cutest spot to go study or hang out and play games with your friends. It has rubber duckies everywhere and so many cute stuffies. They offer foods such as croffle, fries, acai, and popcorn chicken. We got their popular popcorn chicken item the soy one and it was soo good it reminded us of Korean fried chicken but in popcorn chicken form. Their drinks were all so good with the perfect amount of sweetness. We really like the jasmine green milk tea and the frosted drinks it was perfect for a hot summer day. Make sure to stop by yellow goose cafe for a summer pick me up or to go study! The workers were all so friendly and helpful with choosing what drinks to get. The Oreo drink reminded me of the shakes I used to get as a kid but a lot less sweeter which was perfect for my taste. I can't wait to come back and try more...
