My nephew wanted to have McDonald's so I stopped for him at this particular location. So on the food side of it, I ordered the new hamburger from Spain that had a different sauce a different type of cheese some bacon and some onions. I'm not sure what was supposed to be so different about it, it was okay. Nothing too exciting. Now for an incident that happened at this location, a woman came in carrying a cat. I heard her ask one of the workers for a cup to get some water. So instead of taking the cup of water outside to give her cat some water, she decided to sit at the elevated bar seating area that's in this particular dining room, and put her cat up on the counter where everybody eats and was letting it walk around while she dipped her finger in the water and brought it to her cat's lips! I watched everybody around me look at her, shaking their heads putting their hands on their faces and I don't blame them because I was mortified! I can't make this kind of stuff up people. I don't want to even begin to tell you how unsanitary that event was! And I know there's a lot of homeless in the area, and that's okay I'm not saying anything about them of course let them do what they do. But you do not coming to an eating establishment, and put your pet up on the tables where everybody sits to eat, it is so disgusting! I lost my appetite and told my nephew to gather up his food and we would eat at home. I did a alert the staff when I got out to the car- I made a phone call, to alert them that they had this incident occurring right in the middle of the dining room. Now I am assuming it was the manager though I cannot be sure of who I talked to on the phone, but she had me on the line while she went and confronted the young lady and said you can't be in here because you're not even a customer with the cat. I heard the woman respond I'm going to order some chicken nuggets and then I heard them say well you can't just sit here! At this point I hung up, because I was kind of disgusted with the person on the phone who worked at McDonald's. Her response when she went to that lady to confront her should have been" ma'am we do not allow animals up on top of our tables were people eat". "The cat has to stay on the floor on a leash". I know everybody's walking around claiming every animal they own is a service animal! But come on people! Use some common sense and courtesy, when you're out especially in a restaurant where other people are trying to enjoy a meal without catching some sort of disease. I do hope the matter was resolved in a kind manner. But now I am never going to go back to that McDonald's because I don't think that was her first time there with that cat ,she was way too...
Read moreWhy do we all complain about the to many establishments. For example this McDonald's just recently went through a completely new remodel and the place looks amazing. Always clean, seating is always available especially that new table that lights when you touch it, kind if cool actually. They installed computer cashiers to place your order (by the way use it when you can) never having to deal with the cashier who is always moving at a glacier speed that I think to this date Titanic would have survived. Never smiles never engages with anyone really. So why do we get mad at them. I once got there a little to early and ordered my usual and watched what was going on. The cashier had an attitude or was just sitting there looking for something to do. Yes the cashier could have engaged with other people in line but they just sat there like Wynona Ryder (Mermaids) waiting for the bus driver to talk to her. I look over and i see every associate working the orders as fast as they can. They were more focused on the drive through that those guest still had to wait same amount of time as if they had gone inside. Never once did a manager say Hey team we are doing great, or acknowledging the cashier how they are doin. NOT ONCE DID THE MANAGEMENT TEAM ENGAGE OR TRULY INTERACT WITH STAFF OR THE GUEST. They are so busy trying to look like they can do it. Guess what, last time I checked i do believe the word team best describes this
A group of people with a full set of complementary skills required to complete a task, job, or project. Team members (1) operate with a highdegree of interdependence, (2) shareauthority and responsibility for self-management, (3) are accountable for the collective performance, and (4) work toward a common goal and shared rewards(s). A team becomes more than just a collection of people when a strong sense of mutualcommitment creates synergy, thus generating performance greater than the sum of the performance of its individual members.
Do not get upset at the cashier or associate who doing what is asked of them. This goes for any fast food restaurant and let me tell you. Some of them are in need of new training skills. As much as I despise the place for lack of service and poor management skill. I do like how they prepare my food and fries. And for you dorks out there who say I am not coming back, " SHUT THE HELL UP!" I see your hungry booty eating away your Big Mac combo w/ diet coke and not giving a crap about anything but on how delicious the fries are there. So yes I go back and use my app to order my food and never deal with anyone there. This way I...
Read moreThis McDonalds use to be very good. Unfortunately, over the past year or so the service and quality has tanked! Recently, I ordered online through the McD app. Everything was confirmed and paid for through the app for Curbside pickup. However, when I arrived at the restaurant and entered my space number, everything went south. The restaurant canceled my order! I went inside to find out what was going on. When I spoken to the employee at the counter after waiting, he told me they had no order in their system. I then had reorder and PAY a second time. As I waited there for an additional 15 minutes, while they gave priority to the drive thru orders, a message popped up on my phone stating that curbside was now closed at that location! Drive thru wasn’t that busy either, but the restaurant was attempting to shorten their drive thru times by having cars pull forward and park. Then the front counter person would run the orders out to the waiting customers at the expense of the people waiting for walk-in orders!!! I am really disappointed with the disrespect and overall lack of common sense with the shift manager and franchise management!!!! Lost my repeat business for good! I will take my dollars elsewhere! Oh, and I am still waiting for the refund from the first order, as McD Corporate says the restaurant must reach out and refund me...
