How does a Panda get 3 stars? Walking in with my wife and kids I greeted the staff jovially and was answered back with the sound of crickets. š¦ I don't expect everyone to always be in as great a mood as myself, but the atmosphere was worse than dead, almost unwelcoming. Angie was the first to make contact and got our orders underway. We got 2 three item plates and had some of the new sizzling shrimp. It was spicy, as expected, but otherwise just tasted like shrimp. Not bad. Just shrimp. There must have been over a dozen employees and traffic was pretty steady. We must have caught the staff at their lunch though b/c a half dozen were eating on their break. It really felt like I was in a prison camp. The sour looks and attitudes were a huge turn off. I finally got Angie to come out of her shell and smile. After that she was a gem. She gave me all the things I kept forgetting and with a great attitude. That nights saving grace. I've never been to a Panda that I didn't like. Foods clean and scrumptious. Restaurant clean and atmosphere exciting. This night got 2 out of three. Juan was the manager on that night and I praised Angie, but didn't tell him that the room felt foreboding. Whatever got the crew bummed out that night is hopefully just a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreBad management and staff at this location. Treating the Coronavirus pandemic like an Ebola Outbreak. The FOOD, order area and dinning areas are blocked off with tables. At the entrance there is a table with paper menu on it they where make you order from. Its a good way to clear out all your old vegetables from the refrigerator and past fresh soggy food that normally would go in the trash. Broccoli is wilting and deteriorating beyond yellow. Orange chicken, walnut shrimp and egg rolls are soggy and nasty. They also have a drive through at this location. Not like the other Panda Express locations. This Location is setup to get you down the road quick with poor quality $1 style Chinese food. Owner does care about his customers. There will another 1000 customers for every customer they give the business to. Looks like they employ illegals who could care less about any kind of quality control. The...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWhen I first walked in thereās no one in line. Itās just me: itās not that busy thereās hardly anyone dining in. I wasnāt sure what to order between the Kung pao chicken and orange chicken. I asked the lady who helped me if I can sample the Kung pao chicken without a friendly response she said, āwe donāt do sampling here.ā I understand some companies donāt allow sampling, it increases the odds of customers trying something new or different from their usual order. Anyway, so forget trying something different, to be safe I stuck to my usual orange chicken and broccoli beef with friend rice and chow mein noodles. The guy cashier was much nicer and didnāt have a sour look on his face so at least it was a 100% bad customer experience. Working in food and hospitality service is key. I know itās not a nice dine in restaurant, but you should still smile and give great service so customers come back and...
