I think I just found my new favourite spot to get things done and I can already picture students falling in love with it too. This place offers an open, airy layout bathed in natural light, with plenty of seating whether you're flying solo or rolling in with a study squad of six+. Stay a while and you'll notice a natural rhythm: a gentle ebb and flow of people, the occasional hum of conversation, and a background of calming music that makes productivity feel almost... peaceful. Now let's talk drinks, because wow. Their menu leans Vietnamese with a creative twist: coffee, teas, and boba galore. We tried the Salted Creamy Coffee (trust me, just order it - you'll thank yourself later), and the Oreo Brûlée Matcha. I was bracing for a sugar bomb with the latter, but it surprised me, in the best way. Smooth, subtly sweet, with just enough of that brûlée flair to make it tasty without being overwhelming. And bonus: you can adjust the sweetness to your liking. Based on just these two, I'm already planning a return visit to taste-test the rest of the menu. In summary:
Atmosphere? Spot on. Drinks? Delicious. Service? Warm and attentive.
It's the kind of café that makes you want to stay a little longer, order one more drink, and maybe even finish that to-do list. Definitely adding this one to my rotation. I will say, the charging spots are limited, so do come with a full charge and move spots if you see an opening spot near a...
Read moreI love this new Vietnamese coffee and boba spot! Finally, a legit Vietnamese coffee place has opened in the area, so there's no need to travel all the way to Little Saigon for authentic Vietnamese coffee anymore. The coffee here is strong and flavorful, and they use high-quality ingredients in their drinks. The staff are super friendly and offer great recommendations. If you're unsure of what to order, you can even ask for a sample! I highly recommend trying their signature Vietnamese Egg Coffee and Banana Coffee. The space is large, making it a perfect spot to hang out with friends or get some studying done. However, keep in mind that the drinks are a bit on the pricier side, around $7-$8 before tax and any additional toppings.
Quick tips: DOL Coffee House shares a parking lot with Hanmi Bank and Shin-Sen-Gumi Ramen. There are additional parking spaces on the other side, near the back of Raising Cane's. You can’t adjust the sugar level for the signature Vietnamese Egg Coffee, but you can for many of the other drinks...
Read moreAm I excited a coffee and boba shop opened up not in pacific square or that plaza in Western? I sure am! You can even drive over without getting on the street from Target by going in the back of raising Cane's.
Good coffee, fresh fruit drinks, friendly staff, cool cups with a string to hold on the cap so you don't lose it quickly. They bring the drinks to your table. Not the cheapest but they use good, fresh ingredients. 50% sweet is what I get at most places and I could go higher here because they don't make things too sweet! Comparable to sunright.
Lots of open space and seating inside including some stools that will make you feel like you're in Asia.
Going to keep hoping for decaf Vietnamese coffee and outdoor...
