My family sat in the family-styled corner, perfect as I was able to soak everything in. We were immediately served within 5 minutes after placing our order with incredible fish, superb hospitality and an electric atmosphere that somehow manages to thrive amidst the chaos of a bustling crowd. The owner/manager is right there in the thick of it, soaking up the energy of the crowd, and keeping a watchful eye on everything. Btw this man is never not here and you can tell his commitment and integrity despite keeping busy while wearing his arm brace. It’s a beautiful chaos to be a part of, especially in this restaurant. Never had to endure a wait longer than the usual, even in the thick of the rush. Every bite bursts with freshness, priced reasonably, and encapsulates the essence of the restaurant through its walls and ceilings despite all these years that never gets old and only ages like wine. If you know about sushi don't go here. I've been here a couple of times after drinking . This time I went during dinner hours . Not good! Yes they were busy but we waited a long time just to be asked for drinks. The waiter poor thing he got our appetizer wrong and part of our oder , I didn't send it back because I didn't want him to get in trouble. Let's get to the sushi part. I order one of my favorites crispy roll absolutely wrong i had to send it back it wasn't crispy it was hard. How you mess up a California roll? Also baked scallops suck way to much creams and sauces can't even see what your eating. I think this place is just the reputation service and food have gone down .I don't know if it's post covid people are trying to cut corners and save every penny , but it shouldn't be that way with food . My bill was 100 dollars and I didn't enjoy a single thing I ordered. I ordered a 2noodle soups too and I have to wait ask for a soup spoon and had to wait additionally for that too. . First impressions walking in was busy & inviting. The atmosphere was traditional & very lively especially with the pictures on the wall of all the people before. I'm not trying to be so critical but everything was nauseating. The miso soup taste like old sink tofu water, the seaweed was the only saving grace... The calamari had a Small black hair in it smh. Moving on to the sushi the shrimp tempura & the California rolls both same issue rice overcooked ruined the good fish. The combos plates, the salad still leaking water.. then to the frozen overcooked steak, && overcooked fish & yep you guessed it overcooked steamed rice.

Then to top it off they charged me $15.99 for a single peach soju 😂. That's what I paid for a single combo meal! This place is pure comedy at this point. Heavily disappointed, save your money go...
