Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Gardena

This evening, 4/12/24 at 8 PM, I entered Jersy Mike's and requested a veggie sandwich. In the process of making my sandwich, the worker stopped and took the order of the customer behind me she then gave a co-worker a high five. I asked her to change her gloves, which she did. The worker began making my sandwich in conjunction with the persons in back of me, which was full of various meats I asked the worker kindly, please move my sandwich over before you touch the meat, she did. The worker cut various meats and then attempted to come back to making my veggie sandwich. I asked politely again to please change gloves and noted that she kept touching meat, then coming back to my making my sandwich. The worker said she was just going to finish the person in back of me sandwich first since I kept expecting her to go back and forth. I asked how that was fair when I was here first? If you were on both duties cutting and adding condiments, shouldn't you have just finished mine? On another note, the person in back of me said that she was waiting on her hot sanwhich and wasn't ready to move forward in the line. I turned and left the restaurant. Okay, first of all, I only started coming here because my job gave us some lil coupons. I had never been to Jersey Mike’s before then. I had a total of 3 coupons. I kept coming back not only because of that, but because of the STELLAR, TOP-NOTCH customer service, y’all! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 Seriously, nothing less than impeccable. The employees here are all just so kind, funny, and welcoming. I really don’t know where management found all of these amazing people, but I commend them for not just hiring anyone. Every time I come in, I feel like I’m greeted by family and it really puts such a smile on my face and sets the tone for the rest of my day (I usually come in during lunchtime around 1ish). These workers are my cousins at this point the way I feel like I’ve known them for so long 😁 Not to mention, their sandwiches taste FRESH! Idk, it just hits different! My favorites so far are the tuna and club sandwiches; can’t pick between the two. I’ll for sure come back every now...

The pick time is alway incorrect/late, the time showed 11:32 and the order wasn't readyand had to wait till 12:08. Once I got back to work and unpacked the order noticed that is was wrong, missing a reg #66 and reg #13. I ordered 3 X reg #13 and rcvd 1 X reg #13 and 1 X Lrg #13 which is wrong. I came back and spoke to the manager and she argued saying they just packed the two reg #13 together and must have missed the #66, basically dismissing it being as a big deal.. I stated the fact is I had to drive back here for you to fix it! .. horrible service and accountability! To follow up, THE manager Heather called me after seeing my complaint on Jersey Mikes website… Why did she call…? only to argue and lie about their performance and say “You don’t have to come back here” LOL Heather only confirmed that she is unprofessional and have ZERO INTEGRITY.
