Usually me & my family go to Tompopo which is literally 25-30 feet away in the same plaza. However last 2 times the rival restaurant has not open their dining room for dining in and their 3 tables outside were full. We don't want to eat our Ramen out of the plastic containers rather enjoy the real deal. We gave Kiraku a try and low and behold they were great in comparison! They have just as much or more options on their menu. Me and wifey both got their Donkatsu Ramen set which came with one side order. I got tempura, she got the Tiger roll *sushi*. The Ramen broth was rich in flavor and their Chasui had its own distinct robust flavor compared to other Japanese restaurants that serve authentic Ramen, noodles texture and flavor on point. Tiger roll was delicious as well. We will return to check out their other items on their menu. Beware that busy times will be longer waits due to understaffing which has become a pandemic trend since the reopening of businesses. I'm not fond of this business tactic, however that's how things are during these unprecedented times. I still give them 5 star rating for quality and authenticity. The only 2 waiters did there best!

The WORST sushi place EVER!!! Stinky fish!! I would give them minus 10 stars if I could! What kind of sushi makers(I can't call them anything else) work there if they can't or don't know how to make the most simple roll in the world - Philadelphia roll!!?? They didn't put cucumbers in it!!!!!! And look at the amount of Avocado!!!(see the picture. Sesame seeds I sprinkled myself of course) It's unbelievable!!! They are so stingy!! I hate soft rolls!! Philadelphia CAN'T BE without that cucumber crunch!!!! And in their menu it has cucumber in it like in the whole world!!!! Plus, I tried my husband's spicy tuna roll, and I just had to spit it away!! Because it was extremely stinky!!!!! 🤮🤮🤮🤮 I ALSO burned my salmon on the top of Philadelphia roll without cucumber in it, because I'm sure that their fish can't be eaten raw! What's up with you, guys!!?? Are cucumbers too expensive that you can't afford to put them in the roll like the recipe is??? You should fire your sushi makers.

First of all, I would cross out the “traditional” in the restaurant description above. The food selection was more like Korean flavor infused Japanese food. You can actually find some Korean dishes like bulgogi and champon. I think it’s close to fusion than traditional. Looking at the posted interior photos, I assume it was recently remodeled. It looked more modern, and I suppose the ownership + menu might have changed recently as well. I got a spicy beef rib ramen and it tasted decent (reasonable for the price — their pricing is 👍🏻! Portion size is big and lots of choice you have for less than $10). It tasted more like Korean food than a Japanese food. We also ordered a katsu curry and the katsu was over-cooked. Again, the portion size was big. Service was very good, friendly and attentive. They seemed hard-working and kind.

Just called to ask if narutomaki (fish cake) is available. Dude who answered said no, but if u look at their menu online it CLEARLY shows a ramen bowl with 2 pieces of fish cake on top. If you don't serve fish cake THEN DONT HAVE IT IN YOUR PICTURES!! FALSE ADVERTISING!!!! Wish I could give them no stars!

I wasn't asking to buy the fish cake by itself, I go buy that at a Asian market, I'm Black and Japanese. I called to ask if your restaurant carries it as I saw in your pictures, no option to add more anywhere on your menu. You might wanna think about adding that.

Update..... December 3, 2021 Called before I placed my order tonight, to ask specifically if they had fishcake topping. I was told YES! I placed my order, called again to let them know that I wanted $2.00 extra fishcake topping, I was told sure and don't worry about it,it's on the house!! Wooooooooo happy dance!! Until I get it 45 minutes letter with a note added to my receipt "sorry, out of fishcake" I about hit the damn roof! Fishcake topping is the best part of ramen for me and to not get what I want is ridiculous. Someone should've called me and let me know. This pisses me off and ruined my night. I haven't even opened my bag of food that I paid for. 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 I won't order anything else from this...

Let me start by saying i love the food here, BUT beware that what you ordered is what you end up with! I ordered over ther phone 4 scallop crunch rolls from the 50% discount menu, I repeated it more than once because of a recent mishap with them before, brought home to my family, my 3 girls took theirs upstairs, and i put my husbands on the counter for when he comes home, about an hour later... first thing he yells are who ate my scallops! I look in the container and none of the fried scallops were there...i asked my girls who ate them and they said they didn't have any either but they thought i ordered something different. I called spoke with the same lady who took my order and she's trying to tell me that I ordered something different and since I'm just now finding out that it was wrong that i didn't know what i ordered!!!!! OMG! I told her i know exactly what i ordered i always pull up the menu online and read exactly what it says so there's no confusion! She wanted to go back and forth with me! I asked if the manager was there and got silence! I kept saying hello... nothing, she didn't hang up, she just didn't say anything! I proceeded to tell the air that i will never order over the phone again, i will stand in the back and point at the picture... or maybe find a...
