I love thai food and I have tasted quite a few from various eateries but the thai food at Three Thai Spice, for me, by far is the best and most authentic! And I am so lucky to live less than 2 miles away from the restaurant!
My all-time favorite are the Shrimp Rolls. Whole shrimp wrapped in eggroll skin fried to crunchy perfection. It is shrimp-y without being fishy, with a hint of garlic. It comes with a sweet and sour dipping sauce, I don't like sauces at all so I can't rate their sauce. $7.25 per order, you get about 10 rolls I think.
I tried their Tom Yum soup, such wonderful combination of spicy and sour beautifully mingled with the acidity of the tomato. it is so delicious! $6.25 per order (with shrimp).
Last night I tried their Chicken Noodle (Kai Khua) but with shrimp, I had to restrain myself from eating the whole order! I love the flat noodles and the sauce that coated each and every noodle, vegetables and shrimp was so yummy. $7.75 per order (with shrimp).
I have to say, though, that if there is anything I had from there that I did not care for it is the Crispy Golden Triangle and the Puffy Shrimp. It is a crispy finger food of wonton wrappers stuffed with chicken, cream cheese and green onion inside. In my opinion, it has too much green onion. As for the Puffy Shrimp appetizers, it is kind of a patty made of ground shrimp with crumb bread batter. It is soggy and greasy.
The other thing I don't like is that parking is so limited there, although parking is free. It is so hard to find parking so you have to drive around to find street parking.
Their customer service is great. One time I walked in and ordered my usual Shrimp Roll to-go. When I got home I found an order of Crispy Golden Triangles instead. When I called to let them know, they knew right away what I was talking about. They promptly apologized and offered to deliver an order of Shrimp Rolls to my house for free! It took less than 10 minutes before I heard the delivery guy knock on my door with my favorite snack....
Read moreBEWARE SHARP PIECE FIBER GLASS IN FOOD I bought dinner tonight and after finding a SHARP PIECE OF FIBER GLASS I called in to address the concern. Spoke to the lady pictured here who also took my order and she dismissed me very rudely and hung up. Came in with both orange chicken plates I ordered and asked NOT for a refund but a remake on both since I was worried ( I’m feeding children at home). She proceeded to then only give me half of what I ordered and then began yelling at me and my mom when we were calmly trying to tell her that it was a safety issue. As someone who works in food I understand that the customers needs and concerns are what help the company / business. She kept talking over us, and I calmly told her to not worry that I would just be reporting to the Dep. of Public Health Services & Food if she didn’t want to hear what I had to say that she then became very hostile and altered her voice even more. She then said she did not care and had the right to treat her customers however she wanted. Both my mom and I attempted to talk to her with respect until she started accusing my mom of false things and asking for discounts when IN TRUTH the only time we come is to pick up phone orders when Im in town visiting my moms. Chefs were nice and understanding but seemed intimidated of her when they came to the front to talk as she started talking over us when speaking to them and in their face... LITERALLY) even the other server kept her face down in the back the whole time. Moral of the story she (supposed owner “Heidy”) did not accept her business’s error and issue and responded with anger and hostility towards the customer (Myself and mother) . I come here all the time when in town. Not the most budget friendly place but if the foods great I WILL pay. Didn’t ask for a refund. Just wanted a REMAKE for a peace of mind and safety concerns. Resulted in getting yelled at and disrespected and accused of a lie by unprofessionally. Sad, unprofessional, and pathetic. Be careful if...
Read moreThis WAS my favorite Thai spot. Not the closest but worth the drive. Food is great but today's experience left me shocked, unsatisfied and hungry. My fiancé and I bought three dishes today and half-way through my meal I bit into something really hard. When I spit it out, I come to find it was a piece of glass. Not sure about anyone else but this freaked me out. I called back to let them know about the incident and they ask me what dish it was. I tell them I had no clue since I was eating from all three dishes. So, the person on the phone then says give me a second and steps away. When he returns he repeats the question, again I said I have no clue. At this point I just say I thinks it's the rice but there is no way to know for sure. For all I know the other dishes could of had glass in them as well. So, person says he'll credit me for the rice alone. I stupidly accepted rather than ask for my full refund. Refund or not, this will be our last visit. Which leaves me really sad, since this place was truly my favorite...
