Torrance Bakery — Restaurant in Gardena

I just left your bakery and the guy that is working there in the Gardena location is so rude. And I’m no one to complain but this was very unprofessional. I always give people the benefit of the doubt but even his tone and how fast he spoke seemed like was rushing and hates his job. (note : it wasn’t even busy.) You can feel people’s energy /vibe and his was very negative. This was on date 8/17/2024 @ 4 pm. My finance and I just walked out because he just left us there and helped other people instead of us. The ladies working there noticed how rude he was and didn’t say anything. No reaction from them of the situation. They seemed sweet. Helping others. I hope you can talk to him. How long should you wait? Not very busy; got one person's cake ordered and watched everyone else that worked there frantically searching for two cake orders for pick up. Um, does not bode well for my order to be right or found when I need it. The only person taking cake orders took one order in 20 minutes. Then began talking with someone. So ten minutes, three people now on the sign in sheet for placing cake orders and no one taking orders. Gave up after a half hour saw another woman waiting almost as long getting frustrated too. I usually give Torrance Bakery 5 stars. I purchased a birthday cake for my mom and this was THE first time being very disappointed with the customer service in almost 20 years buyingtheir cakes/pastries. Customer service; the young lady was dry from the moment I entered the bakery and debated with me over the color as if I wasn't going to keep the cake like I had a choice afterall it was my moms birthday.
