I had some time to waste while passing through Teaverse city and decided to check this place out. I was not dissapointed. What a beautiful place. It was nice and quaint and the employees were super nice. The zen garden was amazing and very peaceful. The flowers were beautiful. Loved the different color roses. The water features were very nice. You could tell alot of love and attention went into designing and building the different areas of the gardens. The scultpures were neat too. Walked the brick labrinth near the parking lot which was nice as well. I wish I had more time to explore the rest of the grounds before I had to leave. Definitely check this place out if your looking for a tranquil walk or just need to waste some time. Highly recommend this place.

We are a big fan of all things that grow, so we decided to stop in to this garden and see how it was. To our surprise, they had free tours and they even take you around the gardens in a golf cart. This place is run mostly by volunteers year round and is very impressive. Not only does this place have a rich history, it has people that still care about it today. We are excited to visit here again and see how it continues to grow. The pictures I attached are of fairy houses that local children/community members made to put on display in part of the gardens. We came the day after the big celebration where everyone brought their houses, so we got a fresh look.

My partner and I stumbled upon these beautiful grounds after stopping by the Village commons while on vacation.

The garden is free to visit, as are the tours of the grounds where we were given a lot of wonderful historical information about its operations with the Hospital, the current projects being worked on by the garden for its future and growth, as well as the facilities it provides to those who wish to share in the love of gardening.

This botanical garden is a true gem, and a huge gift to the community by the community, and we were very grateful to come see it and receive more context for the farm that once served the people that lived and worked at the Hospital, and it was truly wonderful to see this history being protected and brought forward as a resource of culture and a love of nature for those who would visit. I’m so excited to see how this botanical garden grows, and we will absolutely visit again in the future to see the growth and accomplishments this garden has in store.

Please stop...

I used the Botanic Gardens as my venue for my wedding, and I cannot express just how amazingly gorgeous everything was day-of. Granted, we got extremely lucky with the weather for a pleasantly warm day in early June, but the grounds were impeccably tended to and Karen and the rest of the staff went above and beyond to ensure the day went smoothly. They allowed us to use pieces that had been left to them in the past from other weddings, chauffeured us in golf carts around the grounds, and were very present and attentive to all the little needs that popped up during the day. Beforehand, Karen was very flexible working with us to follow their contract and helped us to save money for our small wedding. All of our guests delighted in how beautiful and wonderful the Botanic Gardens were, and I highly recommend using them to...
