Burger King — Restaurant in Garfield Township

Went thru and ordered a pretty good size order. When we got the total we didn't think it sounded right. We got to the window and the person at the window read half our order and stopped and we said well that doesn't sound the right the right price for everything we ordered. She just said while I wasn't going to read it all to you so we paid for it. Got the receipt. Found exactly what was wrong. Told her we ordered two large fries that were not here and she goes well. I didn't hear that. Took a good salad 3 to 5 minutes. Look back at us and goes well. Do you still want them? We said yes we do. She looks to the back and goes the order at the window ADDED 2 large fries to their order like it was our fault when we said it twice well ordering. She was so impatient asking us if we were completed with our order to listen to us. Then we get our food and our fries are still missing. Yes we get it everywhere is short staffed but that doesn't you rushed through and make all the mistakes that you want slow down. Take your time and get the order correct the first time. We would rather wait for our food to be done correctly then continuously have mistakes in it. Because people are too impatient to slow down and listen to...

Why get only a burger and a few potato chips at a restaurant or bar for twice the price of a consistently good burger, French fries and Coke at Burger King?

Look at the numbers. The least expensive burger and a bag of chips at Lil Bo is $15; Oakwood Proper Burgers, $12; and Sleder’s and Bootlegger’s, $11. Their other burgers cost considerably more. On the other hand, a Junior Whopper Meal - a burger, fries and Coke - costs $7.

Consider the quality. Sometimes the burgers at those bars and restaurants are good. Sometimes they’re thrown-together messes. Burger King burgers are consistently beefy-good, and the french fries are as tasty as any you’ll find.

Granted, Burger King doesn’t serve beer, and the dining area has a fast-food feel. But the one at 3999 North US-31 (near Meijer) looks nice and is always clean. The burger meals are consistently good. The portion sizes add up to a satisfying meal. The service is good. And one more thing that’s important: it’s refreshing to get an enjoyable meal for a reasonable price for a change.
