Disappointment doesn't even begin to describe the experience we had at your Taco Bell last night. We rolled up to the drive-thru around 2 am, tired and hungry after a long hospital stay with our two-year-old daughter. Imagine our frustration when we were greeted by a sight that could only be described as a fast-food nightmare.
Five young men were sprawled across their cars, seemingly taking an eternity to order. After a good fifteen minutes of inching forward, my husband politely rolled down the window and asked if they could move things along a bit. These boys, lacking any basic courtesy, simply mumbled they were "finishing up."
Finally, after about twenty minutes, we reached the ordering speaker. Our hopes for a quick bite rose... only to be dashed by the utterly unprofessional young woman behind the counter.
She didn't even greet us. Instead, she launched into a tirade about how we had "hassled" the previous customers and refused to take our order. We tried to explain the situation, emphasizing our hungry toddler who had just been released from the hospital. Her response? Laughter broadcasted over the intercom, followed by a callous "too bad."
Let me be clear: this wasn't just slow service or a missed order. This was a complete and utter disregard for basic human decency. Here we were, with a sick child, simply wanting a quick meal, and we were treated with contempt. It's one thing to expect some late-night shenanigans at a fast-food joint, but this level of rudeness and lack of empathy is disgraceful. We will certainly be sharing this experience with our friends and family, and strongly urge you to take steps to ensure such a thing never...
Read moreJust another fast food joint. Was my go to but the other night i left with an empty stomach BECAUSE I went through the drive thru and ordered a box, I asked for 12 hot sauces and 10 fire sauces. I LOVE sauce on my burritos. I got to the window and paid, and then Alyssa informs me after my payment that "we are only allowed to give out 2 sauce packets per burrito". I said "let me talk to the manager". Alyssa got Curtis, the manager, and I hear his response to her, "why me, really", he is lazy. I told him "I go in the lobby all the time and take as many sauces I want." His answer was "well Lobby is easier to refill sauces"... Whatever that means. On the outside just like McDonald's etc. Seems like it would be the same filling process whether lobby or back counter. Anyways, I said "then I want a refund". He was more than joyful to give me my refund and asked for the card I paid on even though he had the receipt in his hand which clearly showed I paid cash. I told him I won't be coming here again and he said "okay" with a smile on his face. He didn't offer for me to pay for my sauces or do a one time have them but next time you can't have as many. goodbye taco Bell. The next morning I called Liz above him, she said there was no reason for that over sauces, and that 2 is the recommended amount, she said sorry and hoped that I would come back but she didn't offer me anything free for my experience there. Left on an empty stomach at midnight, and wasted gas money going out there... What else is open at midnight? Ended up munching on lunchables from Walmart. Thanks taco Bell. I won't be back...
Read moreI’m a door dasher, and I have picked up orders from this location multiple times. Earlier today, however, as I was picking up an order an employee stopped me and said “hey bud, someone needs to see you tap confirm in your app.” Some restaurants have dashers do this, but I have never been asked to do this at this location before. A male employee walked up to me and I realized I had already tapped confirm because I had already picked up the food and was about to head out. I explained this to him and he stared blankly the entire time and then asked another employee to “talk to this guy” and he walked away. This is now the third employee I’ve interacted with about tapping confirm for them. So she says that they’re “having dashers do that now” and tells me it’s fine just be sure to show them next time. I left feeling like I had been treated like an idiot because I was supposed to read their minds or something. If you’ve changed something that affects doordashers, aka a big part of each day that you’re open for business, you need to make that as clear as possible for us. Tape a sign to the door, edit the pickup instructions in the app, literally anything. And don’t act like we’re supposed to know. Also by the way I’ve gotten food here before as a customer and the drive thru is absurdly slow and the quality is not the same as the other locations around town, so there’s...
