UPDATE TO MY REVIEW AT BOTTOM: Took my one and a half year old nephew here tonight and we got here just as they were getting busy (Friday night, 5:50 p.m.). Since it was just the 2 of us, and him being so young, we wouldn't be finishing even a small pizza so I went for the Family Sampler (Wings, bone in or out, BREADSTICKS [this becomes important] and French Fries). I asked the cashier taking our order if she could make 1/2 the bone out wings hot (for me) and the other half plain for my 1 1/2 yr. old nephew. NO. CAN. DO. Ok, can I substitute...NOPE. Ok, well then, I'll take a small order of bone out wings (feeds TWO the board advertises, so that'll be plenty), half HOT, half PLAIN, we'll just have chicken and nothing else. NOPE. She tells me. Can't do they on the small...ONLY THE FAMILY SIZE AND UP! WTH?!? This girl sees me and my nephew, does she really think we were going to eat that much. Fine. I'm back to the stinking Family Platter, nephew can have plain Chicken and French Fries, I'll eat BREADSTICKS...food finally comes out... NO BREADSTICKS! They, yes THEY substituted CHEESY BREAD for my BREADSTICKS!!! Of course my nephew immediately chowed down on it like it was PIZZA LOL!!! Man, I'm losing all the way around lol. I went back and waited in line...again...at the register where the Manager Raymond (I hope I have that right, I'll double check tomorrow) was working. He had been there since I first came in. I explained the whole situation and he said I could have had either and I should have been asked. Without missing a beat or making me ask, he asked if I would like some...OF COURSE I SAID SURE...he asked where I was sitting and when it was ready, he came and found me and my nephew instead of just putting it on the table and leaving. Now that folks, is customer service at its FINEST!!! At the end of the night, my nephew cashed in his tickets he won to get this silver and green Chuck E. Cheese ball (he ❤❤❤s balls and he was so proud of his ball he won)! It was 599 tickets, he had 584 and I paid the difference. We left to go to the car, him holding on to his ball. We get out there and...as luck would have it...he dropped it. And I JUST HAPPENED TO PARK RIGHT BY A STORM DRAIN!!! Before I realize what had happened, the ball rolled straight along the curb and right down into the drain! CUE SCREAMING AND CRYING 1 YEAR OLD! I go back in Chuck E. Cheese (this just must be my night) and the Manager, Raymond, was working the toy area (BTW, very rare to see hands on Manager nowadays so that's awesome too). I told him that I'm sorry to be that pain you the ass customer, he said bring it, lol, and I told him what happened with the ball. No telling what he's thinking about me but all in stride, he reaches back, grabs a ball and hands it to me...CUE HAPPY BABY ONCE AGAIN!!! And as many times as I've been to this Chuck E. Cheese, crowded, not crowded, even customers are friendly to each other (or they have been in my experience). I've been to other Chuck E. Cheese's where that hasn't been the case! Keep up the good work! Oh, and I am e-mailing the corporate office because this Manager is just doing an awesome job at this location!!! UPDATE/EDIT TO MY REVIEW: I'm not sure when they started the time vs. points when you buy your kids the play pass, but so far, the POINTS have been the best VALUE HANDS DOWN. I do believe they try to talk you into the TIME (and tell you you or the kids can pause it), but the TIME is a WASTE OF MONEY, IMHO! Just...
Read moreWe are just leaving this location, on a Thursday night, and we’ve been here before and last time they didn’t have the salad bar ready even though they let me buy it but i could t make my own salad. And the employees, for the most part, make you feel like you are an inconvenience for asking for things. Tonight, the new manager, Tim, came over, after we sat in the supposed party area, (which we’ve sat in many times before without celebrating a birthday EVEN ON A SATURDAY), and asked us and two other tables, (both had already started eating) to move to another table near the play area. There was no signage letting us know that. There were already designated party tables and the place was dead. So if there had been a party, there would have been plenty of room. But if we would have needed to move to make room, I get that, and we would have moved happily. All the other tables are not made for bigger families nor do they have any tables that have chairs, there are only booths. Some people prefer that and/or need the chairs. We didn’t have all of our children with us this time but we would have to take up two tables and not been able to sit together if we can’t sit at one of the bigger tables. Also, I asked 2 people (one guy twice) if he could ask someone to please fix the orange soda. We were there for 2 hours and it was never fixed. I even saw that guy get his own soda, go into the dough room with Tim and have a chat and eat some pizza. My son, who is 4, loves orange soda and it is a treat he gets when we go out. We told him he could have root beer but that I had asked them to fix it and he could have some orange soda in a minute but they never fixed it. The lack customer service, common sense, and thoughtfulness from a manager was sad to see. He even mentioned that he had been yelled at by upper management for allowing non-party goers to eat in that area. Which as a professional and manager, you shouldn’t do. We won’t be going back to this location. When you go to a place like this and spend more money for the experience and fun for your kids, you don’t expect to have this kind of customer service. We will find somewhere else we could...

My visit a few months ago left me with a delightful experience that I couldn't wait to share. The establishment boasts exceptional staff, delicious food, and a clean and well-maintained environment that guarantees an enjoyable time for everyone.
One of the highlights of my visit was the staff's exemplary service. They were incredibly friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure the comfort of all guests. As a parent of an adult child with special needs who loves Chuck E. Cheese, I was thrilled to find that the staff was understanding and supportive. My child often likes to "help" Chuck E. Cheese, and the staff had no issues with that at all. Their kindness and patience truly made a significant difference in our experience.
The food at Chuck E. Cheese was a pleasant surprise. The salad bar offered a fresh selection of ingredients, and the pizza tasted absolutely delicious. The variety of pizza options catered to all tastes, and I appreciated the quality of ingredients used. It's safe to say that even the pickiest eaters will find something to enjoy at the establishment.
The property itself was well-maintained and clean, adding to the overall positive experience. The cleanliness of the premises instilled a sense of confidence and comfort in me as a guest. The attention to detail in keeping the play area and dining space neat and tidy was commendable, making it a safe and inviting environment for families.
Overall, Chuck E. Cheese in Garland is a top-notch family entertainment center that deserves high praise. The friendly and understanding staff, along with the delicious food and clean premises, made our visit memorable.
