My experience with this hotel is a mixed bag. Before I even arrived for my first reservation i had a rude encounter with someone on the phone during the night shift. I had to call twice to verify and try to change a reservation made through a third party (NOTE: Never use Super.com! The headache beats out the prices they offer) but each time she seemed more annoyed than willing to understand and help.
After two frustrating calls i decided to drop it until the next morning. The problem wasn't resolved, but i decided to play the cards I've been dealt to make the most of it.
My arrival at the hotel was MUCH BETTER than i expected. The person who checked me in the evening of July 20 was nice and got me in my room super quickly which i had appreciated. The room itself was amazing for what i paid. I had a full bathtub, two full and comfortable beds, and I was placed next to the elevator for easy access. There were some minor cosmetic damages but I wasn't too bothered by it. The AC didn't make the room as cold as I would've liked it (the filter may need cleaning) and I couldn't figure out how to turn on the night stand lights.
The following morning i took advantage of their free breakfast which was delicious! They served eggs, sausage, potatoes, french toast, along with some other breakfast staples (waffles, fruit, etc.).
My second stay (July 21-23) is where the problems began. I was able to check in early given my situation but my second room was canceled without my permission and my card was also charged for an additional night WITHOUT MY PERMISSION! I immediately spoke with the desk attendant the night of i believe July 22 (maybe it was the 21st, i don't remember) who told me that it was canceled by the third party app (which I had my own separate conversation with) and they charged me again because my stuff was still in the room upon check out. I was not called about this; i did not receive any emails about this; i just received a charge with absolutely no approval.
The following day i spoke directly to the gm who told me the same thing as the nightly attendant, however, i didn't receive a direct answer on why i was charged again without my approval.
This made me feel incredibly uncomfortable because they did something that i didn't agree too. Both the hotel and Super.com overstepped in my opinion and I am currently in the process of trying to receive a remedy for this.
Other than that, i loved the hotel. Its in an incredibly convenient location and most of the staff were very friendly during my stay. Moral of the story: don't use third party services and as soon as you notice something wrong speak up so you have it on record.

As per your google review response, you claimed to have tried contacting my room several times but with no luck. That would have required me to be in the room in ordered to be notified which I was not. I left the hotel soon after breakfast only to return after 10pm CT with the charge on my account. With that being said, if my card was on file that also means that my number and or email was available on file as well. It is simply unrealistic to expect a guest to be within their room for the entire stay, which is why additional contact information...
Read moreI arrived on a Thursday afternoon and parked in the front of the hotel about 100 feet from the front door. By 8 am I was in my truck. When I started my truck it sounded like a HOT ROD! Someone had stolen my Catalytic Convertor. It was not only a huge inconvenience for me, but the staff I spoke to on two separate occasions did not react like it was the first time, or to concerned. The first staff member asked if I would like for her to call the police out and I said yes. I came back to her 5 minutes later and she said she hadn't call them yet. Then asked me if I wanted their number. There was a truck similar to mine parked under the awning directly 10 feet in front of the front door to the hotel, which is a no parking zone. The truck was parked there all weekend. When I question it the people at the front desk stated it was the managers. I also asked if they had cameras that pointed at the parking lot. The front desk staff stated they did not. While I was there I witnessed a tow truck drive up and down every row several times a day. It's very concerning to me that a tow company would be allowed to come onto the property so many times, especially when there are tons of parking spaces available, why would the manager park right in front of the entrance door, and why doesn't a multimillion dollar hotel have security cameras on the outside of their building? I was in town on business and invited by the City of Garland. This hotel visit has really affected the way I will conduct business moving forward, and I do not plan on coming back to stay at this hotel, due to the fact I did not/do not feel safe there. This stay has also affected my life in a very negative way mentally, and financially. This hotel has not done anything...
Read morePublic Service Announcement: Avoid this place unless you have nowhere else to stay, or you're strapped for cash. Yes, their prices are lower, but the quality of this hotel is way below all the other Hyatts, Holiday Inns and Hiltons I've stayed at. I stayed at this place from 4/6/2024-4/8/2024. The rooms are extremely dirty, including blood stains on walls, grease stains on the couch, water damage on the wall, a shower faucet that leaks and is hanging out of the wall, and to top it all off, a nonfunctioning fridge. There is clear evidence that this place is not well-maintained, probably to cut costs. Others have even complained about roach issues.
Now onto the service. When I discovered my room did not have Klennex (facial tissue), I went to the front desk and asked for a box. The response I got was that they hotel is out of facial tissue for the night. I was told by the front desk to use toilet paper. Later, when I discovered my shower does not have body wash (it was just an empty bottle in the shower), I went to the front desk again. The person there told me they were out of body wash, and I needed to use bar soap. He apologized and said the hotel ordered some more body wash already. Finally, when I asked for an extra set of comforters, I was told they didn't have any by the front desk. How could a hotel run out of these essentials? The next morning I got the answer. It's not that they were out of these essentials. The hotel refused to pay for a night housekeeper to save cost. Therefore, in the evenings, if you have any needs, you're out of luck until the morning when housekeeping is back.
This place is run and managed by foreigners, and they really put the art of pinching every penny on...
