It took a very long time to be seated, the truly need help. However, even though there was an obvious need for help, our food arrived nice and hot. Donnie was our server. He was a cutie pie. He was also very polite, Attentive but he didn’t interrupt our dinner every 5 mins. to see if we needed anything. Donnie was a very good representative of how good the service should be at I hop. I also left my yeti cup there, I was somewhat distraught about the situation when my husband suggested I call to see if I could pick it up the next day. I called requested I speak to Donnie and he promise to put it up and make the other shift aware that my cup would be picked up during that morning shift. I arrived and my yeti cup was there. A manager leaving for her own lunch break heard me ask for it and conveyed it to the hostess/waitress. I recovered my yeti. Also on another note, there was an elderly couple ahead of me. they were ahead of me and whom I had parked beside in the parking lot. Once inside, and when the couples turn came to be seated the hostess/waitress had to go look for a place for them to be seated. I commented on the unusually long time it was taking the gracious young lady to find a seat. The elder gentleman agreed saying, “she must have had to go to the hen house”. At that point the pleasant young lady returned with seats for them. At which the elder man turned to me and ask if I was alone. I responded “yes” he then asked “would you like to sit with us?” I’m telling this part because, with all the wrong things that are going wrong, political mistrust and racial tension and economic pressure we all feel sometime. It’s good to know that there is still kindness in the world where three people can come in contact with the other one black the other white, and the senior ask the younger if they would like to sit and have a late breakfast with them. One well past 75 the younger in her mid 60’s . We’ve both seen history change where the question was agents the law at one time. But time and the kindness of two strangers. That I Hop atmosphere is one of the many I hops that gives the atmosphere of acceptance and kindness. I’ve never visited that I Hop and found nothing shy of that, atmosphere even after it’s busiest time when one can tell, this place really...
Read moreThis was my first time visiting this location and the experience was horrible. I did a curbside pick up for a $60 order. When I pulled up the number to text to let someone know you are there was covered with black tape. I don’t understand why curbside pickup is offered if it’s not offered! Please fix the website IHOP! Online it tells you to call the number so I did. I was waiting for someone to pick up for 12 minutes no one picked up called a second time and surprisingly someone answered. The manager then brought my food out to me but of course I always check my bag before I leave any restaurant I order from. I’m missing an order of 3 buttermilk pancakes. I called an additional 16 more times. NO ANSWER!!! 16 TIMES!!! From 2 different phones. Finally I ended up going into the restaurant in which I did not plan on (reason for curbside pickup). When I walked in there was a line of people standing there waiting that I previously saw walk in. The restaurant was absolutely NOT busy! No one was at the front all of the employees were walking around like sloths, including the manager. Not one employee had a sense of urgency, sounded or looked happy. When it was my turn to be addressed I told the manager, same heavyset Hispanic man who brought my food out that I was missing pancakes. His response “how do you know your missing pancakes?”. I KNOW WHAT I ORDERED, WHAT I PAID FOR AND I ALWAYS CHECK MY BAG!!! What kind of question was that! He then asked what I wanted to do I told him I wanted my pancakes. He did in fact give me the pancakes I was missing and a additional short stack. At the same time he was addressing my issue, a couple that was just seated who hadn’t even been there for 5mins was already back at the front requesting the Corporate number. The restaurant was not even busy for service to lack, for no one to not answer the phone, for customers to be dissatisfied so quickly after being seated! There is plenty of training opportunities here even with Management I won’t be back! Andddd just when I was close to finishing my omelette there was a piece of stick in my food. DO NOT...
Read moreThe regional manager at this location is extremely rude and clearly lacks customer service experience. There also seems to be some type of incompetency when it comes to locating online orders. I placed an order for delivery through their app, which indicated that I would receive it within 42 minutes. After that time I received a text that the order was schedules to be picked up by Door dash. 5 minutes passed and there was no update. I decided to call the IHOP location. After about 5 minutes of the girl looking for my order, which she somehow couldn't find, the call "disconnected". I called back and spoke to a man who was also having the same issue in locating my order. By the 15 minute mark past when I was supposed to receive my deliver, I became frustrated and started questioning why there was an issue with even locating my order to start with. The man, who I later found out is Joe Monty (the regional manager), he tried to push me off to speak with DoorDash. I however placed my order through the IHOP app. I guess when he got tired of my complaining he immediately cut me off saying he'd finally found my ticket. I asked why it took so long, and he immediately said "thank you", then abruptly hung up on me. I called back to speak with the manager and found out that it was the manager who hung up on me. I was very upset at this point and the manager kept interrupting me. When I asked him to please stop he continued to interrupt saying he didn't mean to. My husband & I regularly frequent and order from this location. I honestly don't know what changed. But the experience was so horrible to the point where I never want to go back again and will make sure everyone I know is aware of this experience. I am very big on word of mouth and clearly this manager forgets that can help or hurt a business. And...to top it off, when I did finally get my order almost an hour after I was supposed to receive it, it was not complete and the good was cold. So then I had to deal with the pain of having to callback to get credited for the missing items. Over 15 minutes calling with...
