Marco's Pizza — Restaurant in Garland

Only if there were stars with multiple negatives to share my experience about this place from today. When Marco’s Pizza came into the neighborhood my family and I were so excited about a different pizza experience. We even had catering from there few times. All was well until we met the employee from hell name “Claudia.” I was so taken aback about her condescending attitude when we placed in our order to go today around 2pm. When we returned to pickup our order, a nice gentleman name Joshua greeted us. I told him about my concern and asked him that I want to take this up with upper management. Claudia then stepped up and said that this is a franchise business, and she would not give us the name or number of the person in charge of this location. She told us that she is the manager, and she could care less about our business. She told us to go somewhere else, and that she hopes to never see us again. How pitiful!!! One of our family members has a big order from this location at least once a week. Food was great and not to greasy at all like the other reviews.and time waiting for the pizzas was surprisingly fast. Only reason for not returning at this particular location is the guy attending me at the register also the same guy making my food made a disturbed face and rolled his eyes just to check a order that didn’t match what I said compared to the receipt I hade in hand and this was around the time he only put the sauce on the pizza and still hade plenty of time to add any toppings if needed or removed before putting into oven. Because he put us on a promotion price that he didn’t mention at all. So when I got my receipt it was a bit cheaper and hade more topping choices which threw me off so I asked about it.

During all of this not once did he wash his hands after touching the computer mouse and then proceed to touch his nose/mouth to fix his face mask.

My constructive criticism would be mention any promotional deals prior to just adding them on the receipt to avoid any confusion and if you can wash you’re hands after you handle the register especially with COVID situation. Sorry to say I wouldn’t be back any time soon. my first time...

Had never been to or even heard of Marco's pizza but decided to try it after they opened this one. I ordered online for pickup. Food was ready on time, which is always great, and the guy that was at the cash register was nice. There were a LOT of employees in there and it was really loud- not in a bad way or anything, just a lot of people working and communicating with each other. Unfortunately I don't do well with high noise levels like that, so I had kind of a hard time understanding the cashier (not his fault).

The pizza was okay. Really, REALLY greasy which I personally am not a fan of. They have those little pepperonis there ("old world" I think they're called) which was awesome!! First place in Texas I've seen with them. The crust was super bland. I forgot to add the crust topper so I am sure it's better with those. Sauce was good but seemed like most of it was near the edge.

Overall I probably won't eat here again anytime soon, but that's mostly just due to my personal preference of the whole grease factor. If you don't care about that, I am sure...
