Server was Garbage, on the other hand the cook was Awesome!

My first time here and will not be back. Rude server (tall girl, brown hair, not skinny/but not "fluffy"). My family was a party of 9.

My drink and two of the others did not come out for 18 minutes. Server said "if we didn't notice the bartender was busy" (well thats weird because as my experience serving, that was never an excuse for an 18 minute ticket time for drinks.

Also being condescending and rude to a guest is also a NO.) My mom had asked about the drinks and I was like "she said that the deinks are coming- Server interrupts me already explaining and says "I literally just said that they are coming" with a huge attitude. (If you could not be rude to your guests that would be great. Especially when they weren't being rude to you in the first place). A good server would be like, "yes maam I do understand that your drink is taking a little while longer, I do Apologize, But we have only but One bartender right now. I will bring it out as soon as she has them up"<-- you can use this template if you'd like.

My fiance asked her for a sweet tea, she gave him hours old tea and then when he asked for new tea she put sweet in low in it and brought it back. We could see it at the bottom. She never cared to realize that he didnt drink the tea at all.

A good server would have noticed and brought the guest over a new drink.

But since at Kaze I guess since they charge you a 20 percent Gratuity (to parties over 8) to the tab she didnt seem to want to work for her tip. EVEN THOUGH WE WERE A PARTY OF 8 WE HAD 3 SEPARATE TABS. the tab with the most people on it was paying for 6. THERE SHOULD HAVE NOT BEEN A GRATUITY OF 20 PERCENT ADDED TO THIS CHECK. she didnt work for anything but a 4 dollar tip. She was not attentive, she was rude, seemed to not want to be there.

The cook was amazing however, and he seemed more attentive to our drinks than the actual server. Imagine that. (We would have tipped the cook 20 percent, ratherthan her).

Side note: The onion soup seemed to be watered down.

However, The amount of food you get is great!
