Update: The associate’s name is Jillian - she gave me the wrong name on purpose. I will think twice about being a redcard member and Target shopper if the workers are going to be rude. During the holiday, I offer to tip the drive up workers but couldn’t do that this December. My daughter is happy she got her holiday shirt but Drive-up pickup at 8:15am did not go well due to an associate. She said her name was Lily (lady with layered clothing and slightly disheveled appearance for work) but there is no guarantee that is true after how sassy and rude she was after my daughter and I had to head inside after Lily apparently decided to retaliate and wait an extra 10 minutes to bring our items out (it asked for my signature and she never had come out yet so in the system, I’m sure it looks like I already had my items but we can check cameras to show I did not). She told me (while we walked inside due to the long delay in drive up while there was only one other car there) that I almost ran her over when I drove in. That is absolutely not true. You don’t make accusations like that and then walk off; it’s very unprofessional and uncalled for. The suv in space 1 cut me off to get in coming from the side entrance of target and I waiting for him to go in the space and went around him to space 2 while she laid out stop signs. I was in no rush, school drop off isn’t for another hour and my foot wasn’t even on the pedal; I just went around her. I wonder why the associates find it so easy to be rude but only to certain shades of people. She would have thought twice to talk to me like that if I was from a different background. I called to speak with a manager and they claimed that no manager was in and no note was taken down for one to call me back, so I’ll have to go in-person later when hopefully a manager has clocked in...
Read moreI am very disappointed in the experience and interactions I had today. The store itself gets 5 stars however, the actions of Susan (self checkout) today is the reason for my 1 star review. I was at register 1 preparing to unload my cart. Susan walks over from the self checkout and tells me I needed to wait because a gentleman from self checkout needed to go first. I did not move but before I could speak, the gentleman spoke up and said " no she was first, she should not have to get out of line. I will go after her". He had mutiple transactions and I would have had to wait. I thanked him and he said " that is absurd that you would have to get out of line or wait when you were already there.
After I checked out, I asked Susan why she asked me to wait. She responded with he was having issues with self checkout. I told her I understood that but why ask me wait? Why not open another register for him? She said sorry in a very nonchalant way and I addressed that with her and went to customer service to ask for a manager.
While waiting for the manager, I noticed Susan stopped someone who was coming to customer service. About 2 to 3 minutes later, the same woman appoarched me and she was Dawn the manger. I shared my concerns and it was clear that Susan had shared a different story because the manger mentioned something about them opening up another register for me. That did not happen. I also didn't like that I had to wait for the manager to finish speaking to Susan before she spoke to me. The manager stated she would address it to Susan and when I asked if she was truly going to address it with Susan, the manager Dawn facial expression and tone changed and she said " we don't just say things, I will handle it". Not sure it will be address but this situation was all...
Read moreVisited tonight and it was the 1st and last time. Felt nothing like a Target. Approximately 30 min before closing the store, a sound like a loud busy signal was played throughout the store to encourage people to leave. I was on the phone while the sound was playing and the person on the other end asked if it was an emergency signal. Nobody actually spoke over the system or apologized for the noise and as I was walking up to the front I could continually hear the sound going off in diff areas. The employees were all upfront ready to get everyone out. My pickup order was incomplete and inventory was incorrect as an item was in stock that the system indicated it wasn't. Thankfully I had seen the item and was able to get my order properly fulfilled as I traveled to get it. The guy did apologize for the mixup which I will note. There is more tk the story but its already lengthy enough. I feel sorry for the local area as my neighborhood target would Never treat their customers this way. I truly hope this comment at least sparks a conversation because majority of the staff seemed very young and inexperienced. Will never visit this location and if this is not your area Target I warn you to...
