Definitely gone downhill. I'm a former Moe's lover and I used to really like this place which is why I'm quite sad I have so many complaints about it now. Over the last year they've really cut back their menu options, not to mention portions. They used to have fried mushrooms and black olives. Mushrooms were discontinued over a year ago, and recently they also got rid of black olives, which to me are an essential part of burritos, stacks, etc.
I was also shocked to see their Coke Freestyle machine was gone, replaced with a standard fountain drink machine. I really liked it and considered it part of their image. It's a fun surprise to see at any restaurant and I liked all the drink options it had. But no more.
I was also a bit confused about why they rebranded all their menu items a while ago, like the Wrong Doug, John Coctostan, Homewrecker, etc. It went with their theme. Now they're just called the stack, quesadilla, and burrito. I have no idea why they're trying to change their image.
Overall I don't know how many of these changes are from corporate or just this location, but it almost seems like they are trying to run themselves out of business. I mean, what kind of taco place doesn't have black olives? I won't be back, sadly.
Also, I see a Moe's PR guy is replying to other reviews commenting on the recent menu changes by saying "but we have all kinds of new sauces though." Surely you realize that sauces are not equivalent in any way to toppings like black olives/mushrooms. It comes across as hollow and disingenuous. If something as simple as black olives is hurting their bottom line that badly it makes me wonder how much longer they'll stay open.
As I said, I can't imagine...

Soooo, I have visited this place on 3 occasions: once where an employee tried to argue me down about what was classified as make it a meal, once where I was just in and out, and today where it started off as a bad experience but was turned around due to one individual. Although the individual turned things around it wasn't enough to make me change my mind again about staying to enjoy my meal which I initially intended to do. Also on this visit I had an employee trying to argue me down about portion size. She gave me like 5 droplets of meat claiming it was a full scoop, and I told her that's not one scoop. I'm aware they charge per spoon of key items, as I've worked at moes with a substantial amount of time, even when they added white meat chicken and changed their steak option, and what she gave was not the proper portion for a quesadilla. Honestly not sure I'd give this place a shot again. It's not bad regarding the food or anything, it's the random staff that think they are right, those same ones who lack understanding of customer service, and a bit regarding dining room tidyness.
Thank you to the guy who was on chip and queso duty for having such a positive attitude, and understanding of...
Read moreThe new management is doing a great job. The manager (Chandler I believe it was) prepared my food, and was very friendly and sociable, and the rest of the staff was as well. I don't get extremely complicated orders but he seemed almost eager to take care of my small special requests. In the past I've had some people at this location make it known it's an inconvenience to them to grab a couple of taco shells to go with the order, and I always preface with "it's fine if it costs extra." This time, everything was smooth and done courteously.
I used to go to Moe's all the time back when Moe Monday was bogo burritos, if that tells you how long it's been since I went on a regular basis. The last couple of years I've only been from time to time, but this location actually seems cleaner now. It never felt dirty, it just appeared more clean and tidy now. It may just be different colors and more tidy/less clutter.
A couple years ago I would have rated this location 4 stars, maybe 3 depending on the visit, as there were times before when things were left out of to go orders, such as the queso, which we all know they're proud of. From this visit, I give it 5 stars. The new management really seems to want return customers. The food was excellent, and it appears they are putting a lot of...
