Browns Cheesesteaks on the strip in Geneva-on-the-Lake is hands down one of my favorite stops! Boomer, the owner, and his family treat every customer like they’re part of their own. You can really feel the warmth and friendliness when you walk up to the stand.
The menu is simple, but that’s the beauty of it—every single bite is packed with flavor. I’ve been to Philadelphia, and I can honestly say Browns rivals any cheesesteak shop in Philly. They do it right here on the Lake.
The shop is right on the strip next to Lake Erie, so not only do you get an amazing cheesesteak, but you also get to enjoy the fun, lively, and beautiful atmosphere of Geneva-on-the-Lake. For me, it’s worth the ride—85 miles one way on my Harley—just to sink my teeth into one of these sandwiches.
