I'd give them 10 stars if I could! WEEKS ago I took my kids there for the first time. A couple very young ladies were working in the DQ side and in an effort to give us more for our money they overfilled our blizzards WAAAY too much to where it just made a mess. I was irritated but felt like they meant well so I called, not so much to complain, though they easily put a whole 'nother blizzard on top of the cups filled with our blizzard!, but to suggest a supervisor review with these girls(who this is likely thier first job) how to make the blizzards so the mess doesnt ruin the enjoyment or waste thier products. Eddie called me back himself and offered us free ones and was grateful for the information and very very kind...he says the girls mustve taken his policy of giving the customer thier moneys worth...always better a little more than a little less, a bit too far and he offered to give us blizzards. We politely declined as we had more than our fill that day...but he said anytime we came up. We didnt make it back out there but he called me the other day again and asked my address so he could send us these♡ Above and beyond! And that's why his parking lot was packed when we went to spend them lol! And why he has been in business so long! Thank you Eddie. They just dont make em like you anymore! We will be back!!! Afterall...we got some free ice cream to eat! You didnt have to...but you did. We will be coming to you for years to come now because you took our satisfaction...

The place is chaotic at best, 13 people working, most are teenagers. I only ordered fries and two drinks, took 10 minutes after I paid. I was watching the counter and saw a tray of fries sitting and sitting and sitting. Finally one of the children put the two drinks on it and called my number. I asked if I could get fresh fries and was stared at like I have 3 heads. 3 teenaged girls just stared at me not knowing what to do. I tried to explain again that I was watching the fries sit there and I would like fresh ones. Again more stares. I asked if I could talk to an adult. At this time a worker who was late teen, early 20’s said no problem. One of the children that I asked to get an adult went and asked and they said yes, just give her new fries. Throw out the old ones and get new ones. It still took a couple minutes for anyone to figure out how to do this. I get having to have teenagers working, but have a plan in place on how to handle simple things. Went to the bathroom, small, but ok. Except that it was filthy. Poop spray all over the one toilet and nothing to dry your hands with...

Im always on the look out for something new to eat or different places to eat the usual food in. Eddies didn't disappoint. When I ride, I usually ride untill I cant anymore, whether its for food or fuel so quick service is a plus. Again, Eddies was not a disappointment. Burger was pretty big for a single and you can actually taste each ingredient. FRESH FOOD FOLKS. Fries were perfect and needed no ketchup. Odd for me since I love me some ketchup on fries. Service was great. Its one of those places you order and pay up front then they bring you your food....no big deal, but the young lady at the register was so pleasant and all smiles, I had to leave a tip just on that alone. Normally tipping on a place like this where its all self serve is something I dont do, but today I did. She smiled 25% out of me. If your driving through Lompoc and are starving, or just a tad bit hungry....STOP here and enjoy a good burger with your family friends or just by yourself. I think on my next group ride I will push to come to Eddies. I hope they are ready for a large group of...

Our summer isn’t complete without a visit to Eddie’s Grill! Located in Geneva-on-the-Lake, Ohio, the 1950s-style diner takes you back in time. Serving quality food in a clean and fun environment, it’s no wonder Eddie’s Grill is on our summer bucket list! @Visit GOTL #eddiesgrill #genevaonthelake #northeastohio #summer #diner

This is a staple of the Geneva-on-the-Lake strip. It is a nostalgic "diner"-esque restaurant with counter service. Their menu includes foot-long hot dogs, burgers, fries, and more. They are cash only, but there is an ATM on site. The atmosphere is that of a 50s diner, with even the employees wearing paper hats! There's indoor and outdoor seating, and a large period juke box playing beach music. The burger I had was absolutely delicious. The chili does have onions in it which we didn't know ahead of time, and since neither my wife nor myself like onions we had to scrape off the chili, but it was still very good. The line backs up very quickly so be prepared to wait a bit - but it's worth it!

Always a great place to eat, the food is still pretty good for the price, even after all these years. Their footlong hotdog is really the best, cooked to perfection. Also, for some reason they have the best rootbeer, it's always tasted better than usual for some reason. My only complaint is that they seem to have gotten rid of their rear parking lot to add more dining room, forcing you to use the paid lot. Other than that though, the atmosphere and service is really good, gives the old classic 50's beach diner feel, with the juke box, outdoor seating, and number calling system. The front helpers are super friendly as always.
