Papa Murphy's | Take 'N' Bake Pizza — Restaurant in Georgetown Charter Township

I enjoy Papa Murphy's normally but that last few times I have been there I have been disappointed with the service. I normally order my pizza with extra sauce and extra cheese and the last few times I have gone I have had to remind them of this while watching them make the pizza even though they were standing right there when I ordered it. If I did not watch I would of paid the up charge for the additional cheese and sauce and not received it each time. I understand it happening by mistake but it seems like they do not read the receipt or it is not put in the receipt for the person making the pizza. Then at the end when they were finishing my pizza I watched one of the employees take the receipt that they had all handled with and without gloves and throw it right on top of my unwrapped pizza until the last employee finally removed it before wrapping it. Kinda gross. The pizzas however are good when made right and the service here is in and out. I just wish this location's staff would pay more time and attention to the process as now I feel I have to keep a watchful eye on them to make sure my pizza is done correctly. Overall I would recommend Papa Murphy's in general to others looking for good bake...

Extremely disappointed with my visit today. I come here often and have never had an issue. Today, I place an order at 2:50pm for in store pickup. I get there about 20 min after I ordered. There was only one employee working at the time which is understandable. He was helping a lady at the counter place an order. I stood by the online order pick up counter. A man came in after me and he was helped BEFORE me after me standing there waiting 5-10min. After he got done helping the man, he started to put his gloves back on and completely ignored my presence. I had to wave and get his attention to come help me. I told him I was here to pick up an order. I was told my order wasn’t ready. I said that’s fine, I will come back. I left the store and came back. Now it’s about 30 min since I placed my online order, i come back and it still wasn’t ready. I stood there waiting for another 10 min while he prepares the food for the lady who was ordering when I initially came in to pick up my order. What is the point of ordering online if I still have to wait? I might as well walked in to save me all...

I can’t be totally unfair to Papa Murphys. For what I pay and what you get it’s a solid deal. Especially this location being surrounded by literally 6-7 other pizza joints.

Now for the bad... I’m 32 with an iron gut. I’ve spent my entire life in the service and have eaten ALL manner of things. I can eat any other pizza known to man but for some reason everytime I eat a pizza from here I am so beyond sick to my stomach for 1-2 days. My stomach was in knots within 6 hours and I spent the rest of the day on the toilet with the runs (no less than 8x) In papa Murphy’s defense maybe it’s something they cook with I’m intolerant to.
