I had a wonderful experience this evening at Arby's. I kept receiving an email from Arby's for 50% off your entire order and decided to take the offer for dinner tonight. After adding everything to my order and ready to checkout on the Arby's App, it was not honoring the 50% off towards my subtotal. After fooling with it long enough, I decided to go in and ask an employee. A young lady was cleaning the lobby area/trash, so I approached her and asked her if she knew anything about the 50% off email and the Arby's App. She wasn't too familiar with the reason behind the App not crediting the 50% off my total, but she did immediately direct me to a gentleman behind the counter (I'm pretty sure he was the shift manager) and she told him what was going on with the app and it not honoring the 50% off from my email. He immediately said that he would honor the 50% off and would take my order instead of me placing it online and having to adjust it that way. I was extremely impressed with the fast acting help and support from their team and instantly resolving the issue without making excuses to why they couldn't honor the "Arby's App" deal.
Thank you, Arby's team, on Old Paris Rd in Georgetown, KY, for your EXTRAORDINARY CUSTOMER...
Read moreI had to come back and revise my review, and I'm going to tell you now why I rated a fast food joint a full 5 stars:
This location has been something of a joke in my family. We love the food but every time we go through this drive through, you can guarantee that something will be wrong with the order. I've had to come back and pick up the other half of our orders so many times that the manager started tossing in free fries and cookies. We often say "man I'd love some Arby's but I wish we had another location to go to. Oh well, let's roll the dice and see what happens." Inevitably, the result is the same: a very unfriendly person at the window who couldn't care less and a mistake in our order.
Since Darlene has been running the window, however, everything has changed. No matter how busy, she always greets us with a warm smile and tells us, "I hope you enjoy!" This is such a little thing but it has made our visits there so much more pleasant. Also, the orders have always been 100% correct, she always includes napkins and straws, and always asks if we'd like sauces.
Thank you, Darlene, for saving our...

If you eat here, it's 50/50. Either you'll get what you ordered, or you'll get a wet sack of cold dog food. Assuming the order is even correct, which it often is not. Or even all there, which sometimes it isn't.
If you work here, you'll deal with managers who's only opportunity to spew petty orders and act like a somebody is at the local Arby's, the zenith of their career is fast food manager, and they're gonna squeeze it for every drop of ego trip they possibly can. There's a reason they're constantly hiring new help, it's because employee retention is abysmal since no one wants to deal with self-entitled narcissists.
I don't know what it is about fast food managers, but they're all some of the most ridiculous power tripping mouth breathers...
