Crumbl — Restaurant in Georgetown

I called Crumbl to ask a question concerning the purchase of salted caramel cheesecake cookie..I was told by the employee that only one was left so its not listted and she instructed me to put order order in for chocolate chip semi sweet and she will replace it with the cheesecake cookie and she took my name on the order..When I received my order the cheesecake cookie was not in there the chocolate chip was which I don't eat..I called them back because my order was 25 dollars and the employee said that the person she told to switch it out forgot to do it..The male employee I spoke with that got on the phone was very unpleasant, unprofessional and very rude to the point I asked him for his name and his supervisors name..He wouldn't give me his name and he said he didn't know who is supvisor was..I asked for corporate number and I was told by Employee Ro to Google it..He also said corporate office will See the order was for chocolate chip not cheesecake..I said yes because I was told by your employee to order it that way and it would be replaced with the last cheese cake cookie..I was told I could not be refunded even though I was instructed by the employee who works there how to order. This is not the way the customer should have been treated..Will purchase from...

I usually never have anything bad to say about this location; however tonight was different. Order was placed as a Pick-Up. Place was quiet and not busy when I walked in, which made it even more confusing why I was ignored for a solid 5-10 minutes. Most of the employees doing prep work but still just looking over at me, strange but ok not a big deal. Shawn was working hard trying to get orders done (I see you Shawn, you go!)

Now, normally I don’t go out of my way to leave reviews but what really got me was the employee Bylin (or Brylin) texting then talking on her personal cellphone in the kitchen area where all customers can see…the catch, I didn’t even see her wash her hands after handling her personal cell phone to which she then proceeded to prep the food. GROSS!

I get it we all have our phones practically glued to our hands nowadays but girl you are standing in a kitchen, distracting others with your gossip in front of waiting customers (who you’ve ignored), then not even practicing proper hygiene when making other peoples food! That’s just gross! 🤢

At least if you see me standing there patiently waiting at the Pick-Up counter (and you just keep looking at me) just ask if I need something. Communication and common decency...

Had these cookies delivered to my Fiancé as a “Just because” and the delivery process was frustrating because they used DoorDash. When I put the address into the app the building number got cut off and it was delivered to the wrong place. I reached out to the store itself and got a chance to speak with Mae and Stacey who really made an effort to make sure that these cookies were delivered to him. Mae helped me over the phone and made sure the address was corrected and reached out to DoorDash to correct the delivery. Stacey especially went above and beyond by delivering the cookies to him herself after a couple more failed attempts of being delivered to the wrong place. If it wasn’t for the disaster-filled delivery process of DoorDash I would be more than happy to give 5 stars, but I would definitely recommend them finding a different option for delivery. My fiancé enjoyed his cookies and was very appreciative of Stacey and Mae’s service as well. It made the entire situation so much better since I was in Austin and just couldn’t pick them up myself.
