Stopped by Juan and Lupe's Kitchen for the first time tonight. I searched 'restaurants near me' and the restaurant popped up. Nice little restaurant off of nearby Williams Drive in Georgetown, TX. I really like the business model. They basically serve tacos (alone or in plate) or tortas. There is one salad and a few appetizers. One person is busy at the self order register and bringing food to the tables. Another is handling a steady stream of to go orders. And two people are cooking in a small kitchen area next to the tables. Simple. The food is very tasty and the presentation is colorful. I had the shrimp, chicken and beef taco plate (note: no rice). The yute had the three beef taco plate. We were advised that the salad was large so we shared. The lemon dressing for the salad is nice. The tacos were beautiful and very tasty. Clean food, they way I like tacos. The tacos were served on single corn tortillas. I am not sure if they had flour tortillas. For each taco, you can pick one of five salsas. I literally cannot describe how delicious all their tacos are. Came to town for Thanksgiving to spend it with family, and didn’t want to cook. Couldn’t find anything open that didn’t require a reservation. We somehow stumbled into Juan and Lupe‘s kitchen, and they were thankfully open. We got a variety of tacos for the five of us, and they were ALL fire. The salsas were incredible as well. Queso was delish. The tortillas are handmade with a mix of corn and flour, which I’ve never had before, and now I crave! The staff was so kind with helping us decide which tacos to try. You can’t make a wrong choice at this restaurant. I thought I knew good tacos - until I came here, these tacos are amazing/incredible/superb. Juan and Lupe know what’s up.
