We normally order from Dominos and always have a great experience. We are avid Dominos fans, ordering every week sometimes twice a week from there. I used to order P'zones from Pizza Hut all the time when we lived in a different area and got a craving for one. I went ahead and ordered a pepperoni P'zone, a pepperoni pizza and some wings for my wife.
The first issue arose after we waited for over an hour for the delivery. Dominos normally has our food to us in less than 45 minutes. I found myself constantly checking the time for how long it took and I normally don't do this.
The second issue arose once we actually received our food. The P'zone had barely any cheese or pepperonis in it. About 1/3 of the total P'zone was missing any cheese or pepperoni, it was just bread. I thought to myself, well maybe this is just one minor mistake because maybe they were busy, so I moved on to the pepperoni pizza. The pepperoni pizza which was a deep dish was greasy, did not have very good flavor and after 2 pieces, left me wanting to throw the rest of the pizza away. As a pizza fanatic, it is not very often that I feel this way. Many a times, I have stuck left over pizza in the fridge and eaten it in the morning.
The last issue was the wings that my wife ordered. I tried to warn her that they would not be like normal wings at a different place and she would probably regret the decision. She likes to order the chicken at Dominos every once in a while to take a break from pizza. She got the wings and I asked her how they were, she said they were not good at all. She ate all of them, as she is a trooper and we don't like to waste food. She ended up getting a stomach ache for the rest of the evening and had to retire to bed around 8:00 pm on a Friday because she felt ill from eating the wings.
For the money that we all spend when ordering food, take your dollars and spend them elsewhere. I have never been overly impressed by Pizza Hut in the first place but every once in a while we like to give businesses a second chance to improve; unfortunately, this experience reconfirmed...
Read moreI’ve been here twice. First time was fine, second time was a disaster.
This evening (22 May @ ~1720) they got the toppings right on the pepperoni/sausage, but as you can see, something weird was going on with the dough. The crust looked questionable and not presentable at all, and after serving two slices, the crust was literally falling apart. This pic was not me pulling apart crust in any way. I don’t even know how this is possible. I also found a long strand of hair on the pizza so maybe they were searching for it and destroyed the pizza in the process?
The second pizza was supposed to have four toppings but came as basic pepperoni. I live too far away to drive it back, so I’ll just eat this and never go back.
Some other minor things for management to make improvements:
Tonight I showed up and my order wasn’t ready yet, despite it saying it was online. I saw a very similar order just sitting on the table by the pizza oven. Finally after four minutes of waiting, and no additions to the order at all (including sauces), the girl walks those items to the warming oven and the screen changes to “ready.” Sure enough, this was my order. I obviously don’t know your processes, but I’m guessing completed items shouldn’t just be sitting out that long just cooling off? The time previous, I was told my order wasn’t ready yet despite it saying it was on the screen. , the employee was confused and looked around for a couple of minutes until he found my chicken wings somewhere separate from the rest of my items. He started arguing with another employee as to why they weren’t in the right place. It’s crazy that there were two separate issues with item accountability during both of my visits.
It’s also off-putting when you have already paid in full online, pick up, yet before they give you your items they ask you to look at the little screen and it asks for a tip. For what? What service have you rendered?

Read moreUpdate (3/22/2024 - 5 stars): has quite a few more visits since the last update, with the latest being dine in (This was the first done in experience at this location) and the nostalgia hit hard. Fresh pizza and soda in the plastic red cups with the stained glass lights above the tables. I wish the buffet was still a thing, but it's long since vanished. The two pizzas were ordered were delicious and the whole experience was great for me and my family.
Update (5/31/2020 - 4 stars): After several bad experiences, management reached out to make things right. There was a little miscommunication about some things, but the staff stuck by it and compensated me. I have since been back a few times and everytime I have ordered from this location I have been pleased with the results. I hope the quality of service remains the same or improves after all of reduced capacity restrictions are lifted from the pandemic.
Update (4/22/2020 - 1 star): I decided to give the ol' Hut another try. Not only did the 'Ready in 15 min' order take 28 minutes, but they managed to screw my order up in two different ways. Ordered a dinner box with extra sauce on the pepperoni pizza, and requested 2x bread sticks and no Cinna sticks. I did receive the 2x bread sticks, but there were no maranara dipping sauces included, and the pizza was regular sauce but extra cheese. Downgrading to 1 star, and will never visit this location again. It's sad that I need to drive to Round Rock to get decent service from a national chain. (The RR location on University is amazing)
Original (Dec 2018 - 2 stars): Always slow. 15 min orders are usually at least 25 min. If you really want Pizza Hut, make the drive to one of the Round...
