Good day to you, dear reader!
Another Wednesday, another new dining experience. I've been enjoying the rain as of late. Today's excursion was actually meant for a lesser purpose: Dairy Queen. I was hungry, and, believing some fried chicken could cure the void within, I embarked on a journey to retrieve it.
Halfway there, however, something caught my eye-- Pokeworks. I'd driven by there numerous times, but only today did I get the idea to peek inside and potentially discover hidden treasure. (Well... not really hidden. It's right out on the corner. But you get the idea.)
Overcome with curiosity --and hunger-- I exited traffic, parked, and headed in. The place was clean, aesthetically pleasing, and as I walked up to the menu, I was immediately entranced by the selection! The pictures were lovely, and I could see the fresh ingredients all laid out before me behind the bar. I was greeted by a lovely staff member who helped assemble my bowl. Feeling fruity, as I often do, I decided to order a smoothie along with it.
Let me tell you, the bowl was phenomenal. Fresh, delicious, FUN! I was reminded of a time long ago, when I was merely a boy, trying sushi for the first time with good ol' Uncle Vinny. Man, those were the days. Too bad about that skiing accident.

A few months ago, I let it slide that our order was not done properly. I thought humans make mistakes and so I ate the cost to me. Today, the mistake was too much and the way in which is was handled was something I hoped I could address and make amends with the company. After ordering a lunch that was never delivered (not the fault of the driver as they are claiming), I could not get confirmation for refund over the phone. After a long day at work I had to drive to Poke only to be told sure we will give you a refund. Nothing else. No apology for having to teach all day without the meal I paid for and no acknowledgment of the inconvenience of refusing to give me a refund over the phone, causing me to have to drive to them. Read moreI came to this establishment in a great mood and very hungry. I like that this place promotes healthy eating. However, I had never been here before and didn't know how it worked. When the server put rice in a plastic container, I asked if they had any containers other than plastic. She didn't understand my question, and we had a bit of a misunderstanding. I remained positive, but her facial expressions showed irritation. After I asked again why she put the fish and rice in separate containers, her irritation was evident, and she called her colleague to continue serving me. The new server was polite, smiling, and very professional. Initially, I wanted to give 4 stars due to the service, but this young man improved the situation and restored my rating to 5 stars. However, I would like to ask the managers of this establishment to have a conversation about how to properly interact with customers and not show irritation, even if they are feeling it. Especially towards customers who are positive, smiling, and just asking questions they don't understand.

Но я в этом заведении не был ни разу и не знал, как оно устроено, как оно работает. Когда продавщица положила мне рис в пластиковый контейнер, я спросил, есть ли у них какие-то другие контейнеры, кроме пластиковых. В итоге она не поняла моего вопроса, у нас возникло какое-то недопонимание. Я был настроен позитивно. Но ее эмоциональное состояние, ее выражение лица демонстрировало раздражительность. После повторного вопроса, касаемо того, почему она положила в разные тарелки рыбу и рис, когда это ее стало снова раздражать, она позвала своего напарника, который продолжил меня обслуживать. В свою очередь, она эмоционально демонстрировала свое раздражение. Мой сотрудник, который заменил ее, был вежлив, улыбался и был максимально профессионален. После коммуникации с этой девушкой я хотел поставить 4 звезды, так как мне не понравилось обслуживание. Но этот молодой человек исправил ситуацию и вернул 5 звезд. Но я хотел бы обратиться к руководителям этого заведения, чтобы они произвели беседу на тему, как правильно общаться с клиентом. И не показывать свое раздражение, даже если оно имеется.
