Thanks for ruining a mother's day lunch. We walked in, no one in line, great. There were other families dining, great. I noticed 5 employees, so seemed sufficiently staffed. These are all good signs for a diecently good experience, NOPE!!!!! I ordered a child bowl/meal, all well and good with the girls making it although the ingredient selections were limited and the containers/prep area was messy, but as I mentioned, there were other families so maybe they hadn't gotten a chance to tidy up. Half way through my order an older lady yells from the back to the girl prepping my bowl and rudely demands she finish my order, take gloves off, and clock out.. I politely informed the girls that I had 2 others standing with me whom would be on then same order, she replied "ah don't worry about it". Sure enough, she ungloved after passing my bowl on, didn't acknowledge my daughter or husband and walks away leaving them standing and no one too take their order until my bowl was finished and I spoke up to another girl at the register that they were both with me. Ok, giving them the benefit of being young/inexperienced and having a very rude manager, I overlooked. They finally got their order, I pay, and we sat down. The dining room was untidy with dirty tables and chairs strewn, but again gave them the benefit, and I wiped down our table. We ordered a small bowl, regular bowl, a burrito, and queso w/chips. I chose chips for my side bowl. My husband wanted beef burrito, she gave him steak, he overlooked it. I opened both bags of chips and they were brown, over cooked, burnt, and tasted burnt. I grabbed both bags, went to register, informed them they were burnt and not eatable and asked if I could have them replaced to which the girl replied, "yeah, we know, but there is nothing we can do about it." I asked, "can you please at the least replace these, I wouldn't have ordered extra quaso, or chips as my side if i'd known I was going to be served chips that weren't eatable." The girl rudely replied again, "there is nothing we can do about it!" So I sat back down, obviously aggravated, but we continued to attempt to salvage what we could of the remainder of our meal with my husband having to dissect and remove the steak and it was dry, tough, and also not eatable. Out of the 4 other families dining I noticed not one was eating their chips either. The slap on the face came when an employee, the initial girl whom stepped away while in the middle of our order, came out with fresh canister refills, made herself a bowl, proceeded to get herself chips, noticed they were burnt, handed the other 2 girls a burnt chip to try, they each said, "yuck/gross", then she went and got another batch of chips, made herself a bag, tossed a few scoops in with the remainder of the burnt ones, handed the other girls a fresh chip again to try, they both replied, "oh way better." Then she continued to sit down to eat her fresh meal, but not before yelling back to the others, "oh its nasty out here!" Wow!...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI ordered delivery through the app tonight, the delivery driver called and told me their fryers were broken so they didnāt have any chips. Obviously this was a problem because my order consisted of a burrito, a build your own nachos, and an order of chips and queso. I told them no worries, would they like to refund the order or replace the item with something else? I was told it was up to me, so in an effort to not waste everyoneās time involved (including mine) I requested to replace the nachos with a bowl. I was told they couldnāt do that (no explanation given). So then I requested a refund, āyouāll have to call DoorDash about thatā⦠when I ordered from the Qdoba app?? Okay, so I call doordash, who then tells me to contact Qdoba for a refund.
So now, hereās what I get for being a customer of Qdoba:
1.) About 30-45 minutes wasted on placing an order, support, and filling out an online form.
2.) Unhelpful employees (or terrible management/corporate policies) that would apparently rather waste the drivers time as well as mine than substitute an item.
3.) Waiting god knows how long for a refund on money it took them less than 5 seconds to pull out of my bank account.
Do better Qdoba, this customer service was a complete joke in pretty much every aspect. The only upside was the delivery driver was very polite, which tracks because he was employed by a 3rd party not even...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI'm going to preface this with the fact that Qdoba has been my go-to both here and where I previously lived for an affordable, quality meal. Often I count on it being the only meal I'm eating in a day. It's one of the few places that I can count on to have a clean kitchen and quality ingredients. That said, y'all missed today. I went to get what is effectively my "normal" order and ended up with the scrawniest, smallest burrito I've ever gotten from this company. Please do better. I know costs are probably up for everyone right now due to tariffs and whatnot, but this is literally half the burrito I normally get from you. Make the food like the people buying it are actually hungry. There was nothing particularly bad about the service or the guy making the food, but shaking off the chicken spoon so that it barely has a layer of meat on it and dumping it on the burrito is not the way to keep customers returning. I've previously had very good experiences with this store, but found my demeanor souring when I realized that I'd be getting effectively half the food I normally would. While I will return for certain, if I see the same guy on the make line I'll probably turn around and go get dinner somewhere else.
In short, make your food like people want to eat it. You can do so much...
