Taco Bell, in general, is a hit or miss experience. In the case of this location, over the past 15 plus years that I have been going there I have to give the edge to the "miss". Mostly, I think, gone are the days when I got a hankering for some TB AND looked forward to a quick in and out with some reasonable assurance that my order was right and the food was good.
Now, I have to spend time meticulously checking my order that's thrown into a bag haphazardly to make sure that everything I ordered is there AND that stuff I asked to be left out because of allergies is in fact not present. Unfortunately, more than half of the time both are wrong. It's especially annoying when items like tacos are loosely wrapped and put in the bag upside down so that when you grab them everything falls out into the bottom of the bag.
The other issue that I have with this location, and maybe it's all of them now, is that ordering from the app is weird. You order ahead of time from the app and expect the order to be ready when you get there so you can just pick it up and go. However, if you order for pickup at the takeout window, your order is not ready when you get there because apparently they don't start making your order until you actually arrive and tell them you're here. That is not the case if you choose to pick up inside, except a lot of places don't have inside service anymore. And then when you get to the window they say you don't have an order. No other place I know of starts preparing your food when you tell them you're there from an online order, and that's highly annoying. For that reason alone, I am not as likely to bother ordering from Taco Bell as much as I used to.
It's not that they don't get anything right, because occasionally they do, but it more has to do with the quality of the employees and whether or not an individual actually cares about what they do in their job and you as a customer.
Unfortunately, Taco Bell like most fast food chains, has the same general problem finding good quality help. Perhaps if more chains recognized, took to heart, and implemented a more customer focused and service mentality like what Chick-fil-A does, fast food would once again be a more enjoyable experience like in the good old days when most of these places were young and cared more. I still go - just...
Read moreI live about an hour away, so this was only the second time that I've (along with my husband) visited this location. Each time, upon entering the restaurant, there were several employees sitting in the dining area chatting. It's totally possible that 2-5 employees are on break at the same time. Or have finished a shift and just love it there so much that they want to hang out when they're done. Or love it there so much that they go to work early. It could happen! Either way, each time, the person that took our order (and I have no idea if it was the same person both times) was short with us, even though we immediately knew what we were ordering; in other words, we didn't stand there looking at the menu forever or ask a million questions. She asked if she could take our order, we immediately placed it...easy, peasy. The most recent visit, 06/03/18, as soon as she finished taking our order, she joined the other employees in the dining area for chat-time, so there was no one at all at the front register area. When we received our order, it was incorrect, but I didn't say anything. I figured if her attitude was not-so-great during the original order process, it would NOT be any better to point out that she she placed my order as a "crunchwrap supreme" instead of a "beef taco supreme, crunchy". I'm sure I mumbled when I placed my order (yes, that's sarcasm). Then, I went to use the restroom before we left and there was no toilet paper. I came out front to ask for some, and those same 4-5 employees were sitting in the dining area, no one at the front register, and no one acknowledged me standing there. For all they knew, I wanted to order more food. I finally gave up and just grabbed a couple of napkins to use. Hubby and I decided that we will not be returning to the Georgetown Taco Bell on...
Read more🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 I went through the drive-thru recently and was honestly impressed by how quick and smooth the whole process was. From placing my order to pulling away with my food, it couldn’t have taken more than a few minutes — no long waits, no confusion, just fast, friendly service.
Even more impressive was the quality of the food. Everything was hot, fresh, and perfectly made — no soggy tacos or missing items here. You could tell they weren’t just rushing things out the window; they actually paid attention to getting the order right and making it taste good.
What really stood out, though, was the cleanliness. I popped in to grab some extra sauce, and the inside was spotless. The counters were clean, the floor looked freshly mopped, and even the drink station was tidy — which is rare for any fast food place during a rush.
All in all, this location is doing everything right. Fast service, fresh food, clean environment — exactly what you hope for when you’re grabbing a quick bite. I’ll definitely be coming back, and I hope other...
