Okay so I'll start this by saying the staff is always professional and the food is always amazing. I have been going to this place since I was a little kid. I normally get shrimp and grits for breakfast but today I wanted bacon but I still wanted the grits without shrimp. The grits have a Cajun cream sauce that I love so I requested to have just the grits with the sauce. I was given plain grits and was wondering why, I was then told the shrimp and grits were not ready yet. She then went back and asked the cook again why he did not give me the sauce. I heard him yell from the back like he was mad that he had to do his job. Keep in mind they were only people at three tables in this restaurant at the time so it's not like they were extremely busy. When my waitress told me the shrimp and grits were not ready yet, I then said so if I were to order shrimp and grits I couldn't get them? That's whenever they went back and asked again. That was completely unprofessional and unacceptable behavior, they discounted my meal which I didn't even care I just wanted my grits that's the whole reason I went to the restaurant. Instead of bringing me plain grits I would have just ordered the shrimp and grits to avoid all of this. Again I want to clarify the waitresses did nothing wrong and they are always friendly. The food is the best breakfast restaurant in town and always good. But this one time will make me never go back there again. It got me so angry that I'm sitting in my car right now with my plate of food beside me that I haven't even touched and have lost my appetite. Whoever the cook is should be fired for...

The place had a cozy vibe, with several locals already settled in, chatting and starting their day over hearty breakfasts. Thomas Cafe, located on Front Street in Georgetown, SC, has been a community favorite for over 75 years—and it’s easy to see why.
This charming diner has long been known for its no-frills, satisfying breakfast and lunch offerings, attracting both loyal locals and curious visitors. We went with our usual: French toast, coffee, hot chocolate, and a three-egg veggie omelet. The food was tasty and had that authentic local flavor.
The cafe seemed to be run by a small team of elderly ladies who were doing their best to keep up with orders and customer needs. It’s always heartwarming to see local businesses thriving. They also offer a kids’ menu for both breakfast and lunch, making it a...

We were promptly greeted when we walked in, and our breakfast orders were taken. Coffee arrived a few minutes later.
After 30 minutes, there is no food or follow-up.
When another server asked if we needed refills, I asked where our breakfast was. She advised us she would check on it.
After she finished refilling coffee for the entire restaurant, she went into the kitchen and came out a minute later. She never came back to provide us with an update.
After another 10 minutes, there is still no food or follow-up. We finally left a few dollars on the table to cover the coffee and walked out.
If you want a good meal or any meal for that matter, do NOT come here. You may...
