Bad Daddy's Burger Bar — Restaurant in Georgia

It was date night and I wanted to try somewhere new. As I was headed to Church St. I used Yelp to search my options and Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar grabbed my attention. Extra points got me as when I mentioned where we were going it was expressed to be one of their fave spots.

Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar sits in the plaza so there is ample parking. As we walked up to the door I was taken aback as the right side door presents a safety hazard as it is broken and hanging. There were no signs, caution tape, or anything. I was afraid to open the left side as it appeared to be the only thing holding the door up. However, as there were people inside, I figured it had to work. I slowly pulled the left door and the right one didn’t fall so we made it in safely.

Upon entering, the hostess stand was empty. We waited and were greeted by the hostess once she recognized we were waiting. It was about a 1-2 minute wait, nothing major. The ambiance was mellow. Though it’s a bar and the game was on, everyone was engaged with their tables which kept the noise to a minimum and there were quite a few families in attendance which added to the upbeat environment.

Once seated, the table was clean and still wet so you could tell it was freshly wiped down. I dried the table and we began to look over the menu. Our waitress arrived almost instantly and was all smiles, very bubbly, and super pleasant. Once she greeted us and introduced herself (I believe her name was Taylor) she took our drink orders and allowed us time to review the menu.

I was hungry so it was one of those nights I needed something filling. As the menu has a variety of pub themed options, I decided on the Bistro Burger with a side of Onion Rings.

The Bistro Burger is detailed as, Gouda cheese, applewood smoked bacon, grilled onions, arugula & chipotle avocado crema and was really good.

The meat was well done as I requested. There was a charbroiled flavor that stood out and added to the flavor profile of the burger. The bacon was crispy and the cheese held its ground with the applewood and smoke of the bacon along with the chargrilled flavor. As my sandwich was good at the table, I took half of it home and I’ll be honest. It tasted even better once it had time to sit and marry together. Ummmmmmmmm.

The Onion Rings were crispy on the outside with a tender onion on the inside. Well seasoned and not greasy. They paired very well with the burger and were good enough to be a standalone item.

Overall, Daddy’s Burger Bar was a really good choice. Good service. Good food. Good ambiance....

This was my third time here and the first time was AWESOME! Burger was great beer was great watched nfl games had a great time.

The second time beer was out and the burgers were good. It was so good I have been telling my friends in Detroit about my new favorite place. Because we were at a cool burger spot in Detroit

So on my anniversary my wife and I met there for a lunch or so we thought. At first I thought there were understaffed because today is the day before thanksgiving. But I arrived at 3:30 and by the time I left around 5:00 there were plenty of people walking around acting busy. But it took ten minutes or so to be acknowledged the hostess was non existent. The waiter was a friendly gentleman and we sat. He took our order and the appetizer came after 10 or 15 minutes. Not fast but not abnormal timing. Onions rings were fine but then then waited 45 minutes before we saw other people getting their orders. People making carry out orders got their food and left after we ordered. To make a horrible story shorter, our waiter kept going to the kitchen and even looked like he had to plate the food. I complained about the time and went and spoke with the man because nearly the entire restaurant was busy smacking their lips while my daughters complained. My wife had an appointment and we only had two hours of free time. Management is weak at this place ! Nobody came to say anything after I told him to cancel my order apparently Anthony the “manager” wanted to ensure my order was done properly. After I heard that I didn’t want any food from this Anthony.

So the free app I earned last time was both honored and I had to further explain why I didn’t want four burgers cooked around 4 to be eaten at 5. The waiter tried to explain but when you are hungry who really wants to talk. I came to try a new beer or two and have a different burger and I was excited to spend my anniversary here. Anthony’s weak management skills and my memory will prevent our return. This place went from first to worst...

I went to bad daddy’s burger restaurant another time before today 3/21. I had a girls night out dinner with my daughter. The table was clean, the waiter was pleasant and smiling. He was attentive, on time, polite, and helpful. So I tip him. Today, Thursday 3/21, I came to the restaurant by myself to sit at the bar without judgment to drink and eat. The “ manager “ , Hasani, was rude from the start. He didn’t introduce himself or recommend a drink. He said “Are you dinning or taking it to go”, I should’ve said to go because then I would’ve order their delicious food and left. I stayed and I ordered a drink. I wanted an old fashioned without the orange and orange liqueur. He asked me if I wanted the cherry liqueur in the drink still and I answered yes. He give me a double shot of straight bourbon in a glass with cherries. I didn’t want to make a big issue because he already gave me attitude when he carded me. By the way I wasn’t carded the previous dinning experience. I ordered some food and he had an attitude about how I attempted to get his attention. I asked for completely new and different drink because the first one was horrible: not what I expected or what I asked for. He argues with me about his suggestion of using the drink I didn’t want to make me a new and different drink. He puts lime in my new drink after I told him earlier I don’t want lime or oranges in the drink. Then he places a receipt in front of me and I haven’t received my food yet ( are yall Waffle House or a Burger restaurant?) I look at my receipt and he charged me for three drinks and the food. I never order 3 drinks or even received 3 drinks. He made me feel like I wasn’t a wanted valued customer. As long as Hasani is the manager there then I won’t ever eat at Bad Daddy’s Burgers. I’m a tipper kind of customer and that customer service showed me that the staff there doesn’t need my contribution to the profits of the restaurant or the employees’ pockets. I DIDNT PAY OR TIP NO THERE TODAY!...
