I have come here a number of times and usually receive decent service. However, tonight was the exception. One girl (who refused to mention her name) was either extremely incompetent or intentionally disregarded my order. When we first arrived, there was a couple in front of us who was placing their order and had it promptly prepared while my gf and I got in line behind them. We walked up at about the same time as another guy. So, knowing my girlfriend will want to sample a flavor or 2 and then take a second to decide, I told him to go ahead before us. He places his order and gets his ice cream as we decide. When we get to the window, i ask if its only her working tonight because there dont appear to be any other employees. She says yes and i compliment her and tell her shes doing great. We place our order, she takes it, and walks away (i assume to get statted). A few moments later, my girl friend gets cold and I take her to the car. After waiting in there with her, for what we felt should've been more than long enough to make the quart and a sundae (and after 1 car came and left), i go back to the counter and she apologize and says, "sorry it's taking so long it's because I'm the only one working". I told her it's fine, I understand and proceeded to wait. Another car comes and goes while I wait and try to distract myself with my phone at the window. At no point did she ask me to pay or pull up the order on the register screen. A truck pulls up and she goes to take their order. I say, "excuse me, are you going to make my order?" She says, "oh I'm sorry, I'll get started on it right after this one", rings my order up on the POS, and then walks off to get started on the trucks order. I explain to her why this seemed like terrible customer service to me and asked if there was a priority for the drive-through or something. She ignored me and continued making the order for the truck until I asked for her name. At which point, she refused to tell me and got really hysterical. She started apologizing and hyperventilating, but never mentioned her name. Feeling uncomfortable and slightly annoyed, i walked back to the car to ask my girlfriend if she wanted ice cream bad enough to continue to wait. I drove to the drive-thru while trying to explain why she never made our order. After a few minutes, the truck got his order and drove away. After getting to the window, my gf understood the wait. The server started back hyperventilating and saying she was sorry and that she was making the order now. I asked her why she didn't do so initially and if the drivethru had priority. She started crying (or her best attempt at it) and said, " sorry that i didnt make you a priority" and really freaking out. I said I was not looking to be made a priority, but just wanted my order to be taken and prepared in the correct order that it was placed. They give little dog pup treats (which does make you smile). But Ive noticed, they are skimping back on the size of the ice cream balls served. When you're paying almost $6 for 3 scoops of Ice Cream, you expect to fit standards of Brewster commercials and such. Cold Stone Ice Cream, has always stayed consistent. They mix the ice cream, fresh with chunks and serves HEAPING balls that compliments the bill paid. Ive given Brewster's a few chances in the past 5 or so months. Each time. Less and less. I finally had to get on here and say somethin.. Dont be cheap, cause we arnt! $6 is almost an hr of wage? So please, recognize that, stay consistent with portions. Remember, it's consistency that keeps a business going. It would be nice if you reached out to try and fix this (not sure how, it's ice cream. But still, here I am). She transfer the ice cream from the cake cone to the sugar cone, when my child received the ice cream it was just melting all over her hands, I tried to get another worker attention but I was ignore, so I tried to get the young lady attention who fixed the ice cream and was ignore. The young man from drive thru was nice enough to help my child. While he was correcting the situation the other two workers thought it was hilarious that they ignore me and my child ice cream melted like crazy.
