I ordered a birthday cake for my boyfriend a few weeks back online (ordered on a Friday for a Tuesday pickup.) I called to confirm later that day. When I went to pick it up on that Tuesday, it was not decorated. The woman did a quick decoration and wrote Happy birthday on it for me, and she was very nice.
When I got home (an hour drive) we ate dinner and then did the birthday cake thing. When we cut into it, I realized the entire thing was wrong- every bit of it. I was so unhappy I emailed the company. If they had not responded, I would have left a 1 star review. However, Donald Butler (district manager?) emailed me back and wanted to make it right. He offered to make a new cake and put whatever I wanted on it. I chose some lyrics from song on a show my boyfriend and I are watching. I didn't expect him to actually write them in icing.
When I picked the cake up today, he did in fact write the lyrics in icing. I laughed. Beautiful. My boyfriend also laughed, and the cake was correct, perfect and freaking delicious as hell. Thank you for communicating and making this right. Many other places would have just ignored the email.
Also shout out to the owner (who told me her name AND I repeated it back and STILL forgot it!) So forgive me for that- an African lady who was very delightful and sweet. Thanks again for making this right and being kind- both of you. Good customer service and follow up (and a happy chocoholic boyfriend) is why you got...
Read more6/10/25 I still come here often and service is good 97% of the time but my update is pertaining to the website. I can’t seem to understand why the menu items cost more when trying to place an order online for pickup. I can understand using DoorDash but using the actual website. It low key makes me want to not come here anymore and just go to Dairy Queen 😳 or other ice cream places that just opened up. Unfortunately I must remove a star for that. Also, the tiny scoop reviews are accurate sometimes depending on who is making it gives you the scoop of a child and it’s definitely not worth it.
1/24/24 Ice cream is always good but there is a lady there I’ve never seen before. I came as soon as they opened one day and the next day around the same time and she remembered exactly what 4 of us ordered the day before and also remembered I wanted M&Ms but they didn’t have it which I thought was awesome. I’ve never encountered anyone unpleasant when I’ve come here but just wanted to point her out because she definitely stood out. If you haven’t been check them out. The ice cream is always good and the cones always...
Read moreAs always, the ice cream was delicious. However have a couple of minor complaints first of all they do not do the punch card anymore. So if you have a punch card in your possession, you can still get $0.25 credit for each punch on the card. It's a little annoying because I was one punch away from a free ice cream, but whatever. SMH then my boyfriend ordered a banana split with everything on it. It was $7 and although he asked for everything on it, apparently everything does not include nuts but it does include a stupid pretzel stick that tastes horribly. For an additional $1.29, he could have gotten that. A small fee true enough but on top of an already $7 Banana Split not so much. If you're looking for a very good place for delicious ice cream at a fraction of the cost with a good variety of options, then this is your place. Just make sure that you don't expect nuts on your banana split and you don't mind waiting in line because there's only one person back there working. Also make sure you sign up for Bruster's rewards on their...
